Torith was born a member of a now-forgotten barbarian tribe. While growing up, Torith was a strong, tough, and charming dragonborn, however, he was very headstrong. He was
the prime warrior in his tribe, leading the raids on neighboring hunter/gatherer tribes. Until one day, when he refused to kill an innocent child. Torith was cast out of his tribe, and forced into exile. Knowing the amount of innocent blood on his hands, Torith stayed clear of civilization. One day, Torith had run out of things to hunt, and he feared of dying of starvation, and so, he attempted to steal food from an elven village. The elves caught him, and instead of killing of harming him, they took him in. The elves taught him elvish, and showed him ways to rid his soul of the guilt that hung over it like the black plague. After 5 months in their company, Torith head out, swearing that he would avenge all the wrongs that he committed.
However, Torith was charged as a murderer and sent to court. The judge let him free, on condition that he went to Waterdeep on behalf of the Temple of Silvanus
