I guess so. especially for items that would be good for anyone. Just take the ones that make sense for your character then roll off for the ones in question. If you win the last roll, you're not eligible till everyone gets a useful item again. At this point there are only two of us, so let's just roll. Speaking of that...should we try to recruit a couple more? 2d6 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5 Roll for boots.

Tongu sits himself heavily on the creatures chest, and glares at him. "I'm in a swamp". "I'm sweaty and tired". "And I need a drink...badly, so why don't you rethink your position, and I might get up". 1d6 ⇒ 6 Intimidation
1d6 ⇒ 4 Explode
Since there only seem to be two active players, what do you say we try to recruit again? I don't mind playing with two, but it might get a bit hairy later on.

don't forget your aces (exploding dice). Every raise gets you an extra 1d6 damage.

"By Cayden's coldest mug, you will not get away with this betrayer". 1d6 ⇒ 5 Attack
1d8 + 1d4 ⇒ (8) + (4) = 12 Damage
Can anybody say ouch! If the ganging up rules apply there is another +1 to hit

Not to nitpick, but Tongu failed the healing skill check, and all he did was stop the poison with his heal spell. He would have to cast it again to heal up the wounds. Also, after careful reading of the power, not sure of the time frame, but the wounds have to be healed within an hour of taking them..."The Golden Hour", and Poison/Disease within 10-minutes. Let's go with what we have for now, since it's cool, but something to keep in mind. mikeawmids wrote:

Don't forget your d6 Wildcard die. You roll this on all trait tests (Not damage rolls), and use the higher of the two rolls. It can explode. Also you have (3)Bennies to start with. Rolling one will allow you to pick up all your dice and roll again. Usually using more than one action in a round causes you to take a -2 to your roll foe each action. ie...load and fire a bow might be two actions, so the shot would be at -2. I believe that is how it works.

When you roll melee weapon damage you roll your STR die, plus whatever the weapon die is and add them together. No wildcard roll on damage, and you can't spend bennies, however the dice still ace, and you get an additional 1d6 damage if your attack roll has a raise.

1d4 ⇒ 1 Notice
"Here". "Let me take a look at that wound". "My God has granted me power to heal, and protect". 1d6 ⇒ 1 Healing
1d8 ⇒ 1 Faith (Healing) For Poison
Spend Bennie to re-roll above 1d8 ⇒ 4 Faith (Healing) For Poison
1d8 ⇒ 3 Faith (Detect Arcane)

"That sounds like a good idea". "Any idea where he usually shops". "We could then ask those merchants what his preferred choice of goods is"..."Though I can't imagine what anyone could require except for a substantial quantity of ale, to help him through those lonely nights in the swamp alone". ...Tongu shudders at the thought.

Tongu puts his head down on the table and pounds his fist, whining loudly as he overhears the conversation. Brinestump Marsh"! "Not another swamp". "Why me"? He then looks up with a sigh or resignation, and drains his mug in one swallow. Getting to his feet he staggers a bit, and laughs it off. "Well I've heard enough". "I'm leaving at the crack of noon tomorrow, and heading that way". "Duty calls". "Now I'm going to go get rid of about half of what I just drunk, and turn in for the evening". He makes a point of looking at Adrian, knowing that Nils is in. "You gonna be there"?

He settles into his seat with his ale and asks "So, you think there will be others who join or is it up to us fine lads to tackle the bounty?" he smirks slightly. An obese drunk, a gnome and an impoverished outcast all set of in search of a goblin encampment...sounds like a lame joke. "What brings you two to Sandpoint?" "Well My Adrian, have a seat". "One thing I've learned in the amount of time I've spent listening to strangers in my temple"... Tongu gestures around the taproom, " It's to not judge a man by his appearance but by the worth of his spirit". "I happen to have been a part of a jolly bunch of adventurers that had a quite successful raid up the coast a bit". "The rest took a ship to parts elsewhere, but I kind of decided to stay put here a while". Seems a quite friendly place". "But as my purse it getting a bit light, I thought a through trashing of a few goblins might be good for the soul...as well as the pocketbook". "So what's your story"? "I'm sure it's much braver and more interesting than mine, or even Nil's cousin".

Finally relaxed now that he has a pint or two in his enormous gut, Tongu turns to his new comrades. "Well what say ye"? "I'm in the mood for a bit of sport, and could always use the coin". "It can be expensive paying tribute to my god". As the priest speaks, he carefully tests the heft of his purse again.

"Well". "I can probably answer the first question, before I have an ale, but the rest will have to wait till after I've wet my whistle". "Names Tongu...well met Nils". Tongu flourishes his hand towards the chair across from him, and takes a seat in the other. He then impatiently waits for the server to take his order. "I'll have a Big Gulp Ale please... And keep them coming".

Tongu, looked around at his friends as he read the notice out loud. "10-GP for a simple Goblin ear". "I don't know about you guys, but that sounds more exciting than just about anything...well except maybe for a cold mug of ale". "What say ye that we head into the old Rusty Dragon here, and have a fresh one, and mull over this opportunity". Without waiting for a reply, Tongu heads towards the well known tavern, unconsciously reaching for his purse to check how heavy it is. |
