1). My daughter and I have signed up for The Silent Tide scenario on Saturday at 8 a.m. We have the same event number and I assume that we will be playing in the same game at the same table. Is this correct? It sounds like a simple question, but at Origins we played in a 4ed. RPGA game and they tried to seperate us.
2). Is it wise to make and register more than one character to bring to the event?
3). How is the group of PC's determined? If it is by the number on your ticket, what happens if three wizards, 2 clerics and sorceror show up with the same event number?thanks in advance for any help
1. During marshaling, just tell us you're with someone and we won't break you up.
2. You can only ever play through a scenario one time. Leveling more than one character at a time, while possible, will be slow progression for you. So if you don't mind slow progression, then you won't have any issues leveling multiple PCs.
3. When I marshal, I'll split people up around the room by type -- arcane spellcasters over there, defender/fighter-types over there, healers over there, straight damage dealers over there etc ... then will try to quickly build parties of six that at least have one healer and one arcane spellcaster. Some people will show up with friends already and say "we have a complete group" and I'll just assign them to a table.
I dont have plans to level 2 characters at the same time. I was just trying to be flexible to better be able to fit into a group. But I see your point now. If you split us up by "class" before we sit at the table then you only need the one choice.
Thanks
