Background:
Khandakar was born in Cheliax, and spent the first few years of his life there. However, he was abandoned 10 years ago in Eto, in the nation of Osirion, at age 7, with no memory of his parents. Living his life on the streets among foreign traders and adventure seekers, Khandakar learned much about human nature, but very little about his parents, his heritage, or how he came to be abandoned in such a strange land.

It was early on during his time in Eto when Khandakar first crossed paths with the Pathfinder Society. He signed on as a bearer with Jon Sellwith's expedition to explore some of the ruins north of Eto. Jon was a veteran Pathfinder who was looking for a relic said to be located somewhere north of Eto.

During this expedition, Khandakar became very close to Jon, and when the party was surprised by a mummy in one of the ancient tombs, it was Jon who saved Khandakar's life.

This moment chnaged Khandakar's life forever. Swearing a vow to aid Jon and the Pathfinder Society as repayment for the blood debt, Khandakar became an unofficial mascot of the Osirion chapters of the Pathfinder Society.

Khandakar and Jon were inseparable for several years. On his 16th birthday, something happened that would change Khandakar's life forever - the manifestation of his sorcerous bloodline.

After discussing the specifics of sorcerors and bloodlines with Jon, Khandakar realized that he must look into the details of his heritage and determine how this Infernal bloodline came to be.

Khandakar asked Jon for his aid with this, and after nearly a year of training and research, Jon realized he had nothing else to teach his young protege on the subject of sorcerous bloodlines, so he sponsored Khandakar for membership in the Pathfinder Society.

Unfortunately, after Khandakar was accepted for membership, Jon disappeared. It is unknown if Jon is on Pathfinder business, or if something untoward has happened to Khandakar's life-long companion, but Khandakar has vowed to find out.

Khandakar has only been a member of the Pathfinder Society for the past few months, but the information he has gained so far has encouraged him to continue following his current path to learn about himself, his heritage, the origin of his bloodline, and the fate of his friend.
