Rage (Ex)
While in rage, a barbarian gains a +4 morale bonus to her Strength and Constitution, as well as a +2 morale bonus on Will saves. In addition, she takes a –2 penalty to Armor Class. The increase to Constitution grants the barbarian 2 hit points per Hit Dice, but these disappear when the rage ends and are not lost first like temporary hit points. While in rage, a barbarian cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration. A barbarian can end her rage as a free action and is fatigued after rage for a number of rounds equal to 2 times the number of rounds spent in the rage. A barbarian cannot enter a new rage while fatigued or exhausted but can otherwise enter rage multiple times during a single encounter or combat. If a barbarian falls unconscious, her rage immediately ends, placing her in peril of death. Big Game Hunter (Ex)
Background:
Timmy grew up very deep underground in a small community. Where his other brethren would never leave their enclave he liked to explore the surrounding cave systems. He received heavy combat training from a young age to defend their village. He excelled in fighting the larger creatures which tried to wipe out his village. He kept moving further and further through the surrounding caves, to great annoyances of the others. One day he met a foe larger than any he ever met before. A giant lizard like creature. He tried to run from it but could barely keep pace. He ran for his village and cried alarm. The whole village turned into a small fortress in bare seconds. The villagers fought for nearly an hour but were unable to defeat the monster. In the last moments of the fight Timmy ran. Unable to bear the destruction he brought upon his village. The villagers were eventually able to defeat the creature but with heavy casualties. After the fight they set out to drive Timmy out of their cave system once and for all. He ran for three whole days from them whilst being chased. He ended up in the upper world where everything was larger than he was. Unable to return to his old home he started to roam through the world to see if he could find another place to stay. For years he walked the earth but never found a place where he was welcome. His appearance was to strange for the normal villagers. Even if they did let him in they would always whisper behind his back. One day he came across a traveler who told him about great adventures from the past. He decided that was his home. The place where he belonged.
Personality & appearance:
Timmy is a small gnome with slate-gray skin. He grabs every opportunity to test his strength against bigger and fiercer creatures. He is always fully ready to charge into combat and defeat the giant foes in the world. He has a fierce character and will never back down from a challenge. If his foes prove to hard for him he gets more driven and transforms. He grows stronger and can handle more hits than normal. Outside of combat he still has the character of a person who lives in a small village. He is polite, although a bit enthusiastic, and helpful. As a life goal he wants to grow stronger and more powerful as to prevent another disaster at his hands.
