Are horses (large size creatures) 5x10 or 10x10? I know they were considered 5x10 in 3.5 D&D. What about in Pathfinder?

Thanks for any help!

Be it so known that the bearer of this charter has been charged by the Swordlords of Restov, acting upon the greater good and authority vested within them by the office of the Regent of the Dragonscale Throne, has granted the right of exploration and travel within the wilderness region known as the Greenbelt. Exploration should be limited to an area no further than thirty-six miles east and west and sixty miles south of Oleg’s Trading Post. The carrier of this charter should also strive against banditry and other unlawful behavior to be encountered. The punishment for unrepentant banditry remains, as always, execution by sword or rope. So witnessed on this 24th day of Calistril, under watchful eye of the Lordship of Restov and authority granted by Lord Noleski Surtova, current Regent of the Dragonscale Throne.

With these words inked on sheets of rolled parchment, and the authority of the lordship of Restov spurring them on, a makeshift company of explorers travels along the South Rostland Road. Their destination is Oleg's Trading Post, perhaps civilization's last stand before plunging into the wild unknowns of the Greenbelt in the Stolen Lands of the River Kingdoms. The journey, now in its second day, is made less pleasant by a distinct chill in the air, and a light, misty rain that seems to seep into the bones. Aside from an infrequent hunter or trapper, the explorers have had the road to themselves, giving them little else to do but come to know one another better.

The ambitious halfling Court Bard of House Surtova.
The newly converted blade of Erastil, haunted by her past mistakes.
The Galtan diviner, crafting a new identity for himself...again.
The rugged ranger in search of his father's fate.
The youthful half-elf cavalier with a new lease on life.
The gnome historian of Irori, eager to witness the rise of a new nation.

Brought together by chance, by fate, by the gods...these six souls have embarked on a quest which may change themselves, and all of the River Kingdoms, forever.

This is their story.

And we're off! Take a bit of time to role-play your time on the road, and get to know one another before your arrival at Oleg's Trading Post. Let's make it a great game!

Greetings, players! Please post here to confirm your spot in the game.

Greetings, one and all!

I am now receiving applications to play in a Kingmaker campaign, here on the pbp boards. This game will not be first come first served, but rather I will select 5 or 6 players based on the quality and detail of a written character concept. Character interaction and role-playing is a very important part of a successful pbp game, in my opinion. Therefore, an interesting personality and detailed physical description will go a long way toward helping you get into the game. Daily availablity for posting is preferred, but it is not a firm requirement.

Some ground rules: Core rules, APG, PF supplements are all available resources for use. Characters start at 1st level, to be created using a 15 or 20 point buy (depending on the number of PCs selected). No evil aligned characters. Please do read the free Kingmaker player's guide to help inform your decision making, as this will help you develop a concept which is suitable for the campaign. Also, as this is a very open ('sandboxy') campaign, players will need to be self-starters to keep things moving along.

I'll leave this thread open until Friday for applications, and then I'll take my time over the weekend to choose my players. Thanks for your time, I look forward to reading your character submissions!

Sovereign Court

Hey fellow Paizo fans. I'm looking to playtest the Pathfinder Beta ruleset, and I can't seem to get my usual face-to-face buds interested. So, I want to start up a PbP here on these wonderful boards. I've played via e-mail and message board before, but this will be my first attempt at DMing. Still, I've been lurking for awhile, and I've checked out many of the really great games taking place around here. I think I've got what it takes to do a good job (friendliness, commitment, flexibility, creativity). I've been playing D&D since the red box basic days (not to mention lots of other RPGs), so I've got lots of overall experience under my belt.

I think the character level I want to go with is in the 4th-5th range, and I want to jump in with one of the PF modules, since I'm not so great at writing my own. So, that leaves us with the choices of...River Into Darkness, Flight of the Red Raven, or Tower of the Last Baron. I have them all, they're all great, I'd be happy to run any of them. I'd like some feedback from interested potential players as to any preference amongst the three. I should also mention that if this initial module goes well, I'd be open to running one of the APs...Legacy of Fire really has my interest piqued, so if we can keep a group together through to next spring, that could be on the table.

Anyway...five players sounds about right, I'm thinking. So, if you're interested, hop on in and introduce yourself. I'd be interested in hearing about your RPG experiences as well as module preference, posting availability, prospective character role (tank, blaster, etc.), or anything else you really want to share.

Okay, I'll shut up now. Somebody else talk.
