I have a Half Elf Oracle Arcane Lore Keeper that is taking Eldritch Heritage (arcane). Would I be able to take the extra spell known as a Favored Class Option (as a Human sorcerer) from either the oracle or the sorcerer/wizard spell list? Would it be one level lower than what I could cast from the arcane spell list?
WotC posted a "sneak" preview of the 4e rogue class in the Ampersand section titled Sneak Attack. I realize that judging the entire release on only a small slice of the new rules may be premature, but 4e appears to be a completely new game. In my opinion, if you want a completely new game to try out and play, go nuts. I am less enthused, however. The idea of Martial Power Sources, Healing Surges and Armor Training seem more linked to MMORG than is my preference. The core flavor is gone. However, my greatest dissapointment is that there will be fewer people playing 3e in the interim period while people are trying out 4e. While the game has been sundered and 3e has been left for dead on the battlefield, hopefully there will continue to be support for the 3e community from Paizo and others. I would be interested in hearing other people's take on the article and preview of the rules. |
