Theoric was raised in the great city of Absalom. As he matured he discovered he had a knack for diplomacy, and so it was only natural he became an arbiter in Absalom. Using his silver tongue to settle disputes and prevent fights, Theoric became well known for his ability to end arguments peacefully.
He befriended many of the diplomats and emissaries that came through Absalom, hoping to learn from the best.
When he heard the Pathfinders were recruiting, he excitedly applied to join their ranks, hoping his travels would allow him the chance to see the world and help those in need.
