I love this show and the finale was damn good. By the way I don't know what you mean that you are the only one watching. I watch online and typically there are 4K-6K people who have rated the shows. Maybe that is low which I hope isn't the case.

Spoiler:
I had a feeling since last season or early this season that Cameron was John's love interest. So is the speculation that the metal has their own resistance faction? That would explain why John wanted the metal to join them a few episodes back.

Lol. That is what I suggest. The rogue gets "violated" by the harpies. Make sure to lower his stats accordingly for being exhausted and unable to move quickly. Not to mention a sore, um midsection, from extended use.

The Exchange

Guys, things are still crazy at work. This is the first time I have had internet access from work since last Wed. With the stuff going on here I am crashing and burning once I get home.

Tom, if you haven't done so already, please feel free to NPC Darthen. I am trying to get things taken care of this week so I can get back to a normal schedule by Monday. Sorry for the absence.

The Exchange

I am busting my butt at work to get some major changes made before the end of the week, which for us is tomorrow. More than likely with these changes stuff will be broke come Monday. So please bear with me. Oh and happy turkey bird day.

The Exchange

I have these on my Christmas list. More than likely I will give the game a try with my son as well. Can you tell me how much bigger than a regular mini they are?

The Exchange

Wow, thanks for the very thorough breakdown. It is a lot of information to chew on. I will look over this tomorrow and see what I can come up with.

Tom, if we go ahead and switch to beta what kind of delay are we talking about in converting the AP over?

The Exchange

Hmm, I definitely wouldn't mind doing PF beta just to give it a whirl. Kick the tires so to speak. However I do not follow it so do not know how an Urban Ranger would translate into beta. Any thoughts?

The Exchange

NSpice, I just realized I never bid you a warm welcome. Please consider this as my firm handshake and pat on the back as you join us around the table. Please bring spicy salsa and chips. Thanks.

My inherent goodness makes me NOT want to argue about rewards. Besides, Inigio had a good argument that we may get better rewards for turning it in. Darthen just didn't want to concede defeat so easily. ;)

The Exchange

Tom, thanks for the early ding. Here is the breakdown of Darthens level up.

BAB +1
7 Skill points distributed as:
- Search 2
- Sense Motive 1
- Move Silently 3
- Listen 1
Reflex +1
Fort +1
Two-Weapon Fighting per 2nd level ranger choice

I believe that is everything he gets.

Here is the Korvosa pic, for reference.

Thank you very much! I knew it was out there, but didn't have to much time to search for it. I definitely love that image.

I can see what you mean but I think that the Korovsa pic is much more dynamic, has a lot more details and (at least for me) creates another general mood (much more realistic, much more dynamic and much more scarier than the seemingly sleepy Graywall).

I wouldn't read too much into it. On the other hand, you never know where an artist's inspiration may stem from and the Korvosa image is awesome.

I agree with you on that. I also know in any genre you can only have so many different types before overlap occurs. I am not sure if I thought it was coincidental, or the conspiracy part of my brain overreacted. Especially after reading about WoTC profiling the same god that Paizo put so much effort into.

The Exchange

This pic of Graywall in Dragon 368. There are some minor differences, but the overall effect is strikingly similar to the one of Korvosa. A large keep type structure in the middle surrounded by dilapidated buildings and flying creatures. The only thing missing from the WoTC image is the lightning. I do not have that PF image available, but I do have a wallpaper that shows the different PF characters on the background I described. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?

I understand many do not subscribe to the DDi pages so I posted the picture. If that is wrong please delete and forgive me. I also hope this wasn't posted a bazillion times, but just so happened to NOT be on the first page when I looked.

This image is kind of hard to see with the heroes in the middle. I hope this can at least help show what I am talking about.

The Exchange

I speak for myself when I say that I can't wait for Inigio to feel the burn. Because if he is feeling the burn the rest of us should be turning tail and running. :D

Oh and you had me on that pcdeath.com site. I actually went there thinking it was a IC type of site which gave DMs a better than average roll. Apparently I am also looking for some beach front property in Idaho.

The Exchange

Tom, sorry about my lack of posting. I have been reading and meant to post last night. I will get it up in just a few minutes.

The Exchange

Mr Wolf, it will definitely be sad to see you take a break. I do hope at some point we can continue or start anew. Thank you for the chance to tell Fudrick's story.

The Exchange

No problem. Just remember to take it easy.

The Exchange

Welcome to the show Wellard.

The Exchange

Am I the only one that heard the loud banging noise coming from a different room? I was waiting for someone to go check it out. :)

The Exchange

I am back from vacation. We had a blast at Disney World. I believe we took over 1200 pictures over the 7 days we were there. Sometime this week I will get most of those posted on Facebook. The best parts of the whole week were:

1. Cirque Du Soleil: La Nouba
2. Aerosmith, Rock n Roll Rollercoaster
3. The two firework displays we watched
- Illuminations
- Wishes
4. Expedition Everest
5. Typhoon Lagoon waterpark
6. The rest of the park.

Please give me a few days to get back into my daily routine. I had over 160 personal email and over 2000 work related messages to go through. Not to mention the 1000+ messages in my RSS feeds.

Whew!

Uh, huh. I find it hard to believe that anything is as simple as it seems with you Mr. Wolf.

The Exchange

Grr, board monster stole my post.

Posting this week will be kind of sketchy for me as I am going on vacation for a week starting Saturday. I will attempt to post at night from the hotel, but that all depends on the type of internet access they have. I am kicking myself for not checking on that earlier now that I think about it. Please feel free to DMPC Darthen if needed.

Darthen has a soft spot for kids, but not if his life is on the line. He will slip his blade into one if the need is there. He might also do so for his compatriots, but as far as he knows this is just a one time group deal going on.

If there is in particular you need from me send me an email. It is listed in Darthen's profile.

Please feel free to DMPC Fudrick if needed. This type port is a good place for Shulim and Fazaam to shine so I was planning on holding back a little because Fudrick is a little overwhelmed at all of this. When he was on the family ship his parents stuck to the better ports because of their morals. Not to mention having kids and women on the ship.

If there is in particular you need from me send me an email. It is listed in Fudrick's profile.

The Exchange

The man with the armor is more than welcome to rush into the room blindly. Darthen will move in behind him. After the ranged weapons have fired. ;)

The Exchange

Apparently I am the only one who didn't get it. The one post of yours I comment on and I am off base. I still stand by my assertion that the info is off. :D

The Exchange

Well the confusion started with me, I think. I meant for Fudrick's response to be directed to the genie. I didn't realize we had already moved away so just went with the flow when Fazaam responded to him. So I take full blame. Please commence the flogging.

The Exchange

I agree with the others above. It sounds like you need to be honest with her. Take her out and do something spontaneous. You have a better than fair chance at becoming more than friends.

Hmm, my advice sounds like I got it from a fortune cookie. Either way there is no reason to complain about something that you have full control over. Like Nike said, "Just do it".

I try, but face to face I am to slow to come up with those descriptive phrases. That is one reason I like PbP. :)

I don't know what Heather has but we need her to bring the pain. My dice normally don't roll that good so let's finish this off quickly.

The Exchange

I think you are an awesome DM.

The door in front of Darthen flies open with incredible speed. Quicker than he can react to it. As the door slams into his shoulder he involuntarily steps back. A huge half-orc takes up the entire doorway. His looks over Darthen and a his lips turn into a grin framing large yellow-brown teeth that could easily pass for tusks.

Darthen takes a moment to rub his shoulder and stretch it out. With a wicked grin he says, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog."

that's a lovely bit of phrasing. You should DM.

Of course it is a great phrase. The great Mark Twain coined it. :)

The Exchange

Considering he has only one arm and is carrying something in the other may lower his opposed roll. Of course he could see your grapple coming and bonk you on the head with his sack. I am not trying to give Mr. Wolf any ideas or anything. ;)

The Exchange

Darthen's post above is his 1st round action.

The Exchange

I would think the percentage of children would be higher. In the fantasy setting this would be placed in, a majority of the work force would be family labor. Even today farmers tend to have at least one child to help work the fields, etc. Depending on the crop they may not even need many migrant workers for help. One example I can think of is a local tobacco farmer that hires only one or two workers each season. The rest of the labor comes from his two sons, daughter, wife, and million dollar tobacco sorting equipment.

Thanks for posting up your random information to get some discussion going. I enjoy reading them when I get the chance.

oops, Shulim was thinking to himself, hence the lack of quotes. Although he's probably expressed this concern at some point during their hike through the woods and certainly after meeting with the farmer.

Oops indeed. Maybe the robe and kukri give me weird mental powers Mr. Wolf hasn't told us about yet. Wishful thinking maybe?

Orchestra Pit?! Cyclorama?! Dude, I'm coming to live with you.

Seriously, its good it wasn't worse. Glad you're back.

I had to google Cyclorama. I am guessing it is this?

The Exchange

Lets get it on, er lets go.

The Exchange

Fudrick can pass a few coins over for info if needed. A few coppers for some nuggets of info would be appropriate. Maybe a silver or two if he had some really good info and he invited us in for drinks. Anything more would be wasteful and probably get us in trouble later.

The Exchange

I am still here as well. I try not to post to much so others can get in some play time, but now that I think about it everyone might be doing the same. Let me read through this weekends posts if any and I will get my response up.

The Exchange

Is there something here that makes at least 3 of us Qadirians?

Oh I wouldn't be mean enough to NOT let Fazaam try to loot those items. I was hedging my bets that Mr. Wolf will let it play out. If the item was there to help us (or maybe curse us?) then he would make sure to leave a way to retrieve it. At least that was my hopes when Fudrick tossed the items back in :) So far my hunch has paid off. Of course now that I have voiced my plan the almighty Wolf may decide otherwise. Hopefully after you make your attempt you will still have your body parts. ;)

Again Mr. Wolf, I would like to thank you for letting us tell the story of your campaign setting.

The Exchange

I got them.

The Exchange

Stupid board monster.... Why does he only strike when I don't copy the text? Oh well here goes again. A little shorter though.

Work has been extra busy with the boss going on vacation. He has been going over all kinds of stuff that needs to be done. Anyway, I will get that post up tomorrow. Maybe tonight depending on how tired I am. Sorry about that.

The Exchange

I'm here. I was going to give Mr. Wolf a chance to chime in, but it seems we are in RP mode for now. I will get something up later today after I think about what Fudrick will do.

The Exchange

Sorry to hear Utak. I am in a similar boat as you. The company I work for seems to barely get by paying us let alone their bills. I have been looking for a few months now and only get rejected. With the economy the way it is finding a new job seems to be a lot harder. Hopefully both of us will be able to be financially stable again before to long.

The Exchange

Take them to a park and let them run wild. Pack lunch, snacks, lots of water, and a lite dinner. Make sure to take a DS, PSP, PHB, DMG, any Paizo material, or other forms of entertainment for when they meet friends and forget all about you. At the end of the day head home, talk with them in the car about their day, they will get all excited and talk probably non-stop to tell you about every little detail, sit back as you drive and enjoy their youth and innocence.

If you do this for three days, switch it up a little by taking them out to dinner (pizza or whatever they like best) one night, then ice cream the next, and they will love you even more than they already do.

The Exchange

Hmm, good question. I have doctors appt. next Monday which will tell me if I need back surgery again. If so I will probably be out of it for a few weeks until I can sit up in bed to use the computer. There will be plenty of warning for you guys on that. In early Sept. I believe we are still planning on going to Disney World for a week or two. Of course that depends on what the doctor says.

The Exchange

I guess we can let the roguish ones do their job. However the rest of us may want to move out of the way. The damage from the trap seems to be something like 4d4 which would outright kill some of you at max damage. So is that something we want to try?

The Exchange

I will try and get a game post up tomorrow or Monday at the latest. In the meantime I was thinking that Fudrick may just be able to open the door or activate it in some way. He is a follower of Hettama and had a shooting star cross the sky as he was born. Those two things may allow him to unlock the door. What do you all think.

The Exchange

The Historian. I am about a third of the way through so far. In the beginning (first 10 pages or so) I didn't think I would enjoy the book as much as I thought. By the time I was 50 pages into it I could barely put it down. I can't remember the last time I read a book that was creepy in a really subtle way.
