Background:
While born into obscurity, Doritan was never content to simply be another commoner, toiling away in the fields day after day. Still, he was always told that he could never be anything beyond that. Still, he would dream, and pretend, training his body to improve his reflexes, strength, and hardiness, pretending in his free time that he was a gallant knight, participating in local sporting events and some competitive combat arenas. When his brother was killed by bandits as he traveled back from a market, Doritan took matters into his own hands. The relatively laid-back youth stormed the bandit camp, clad in armor, shield, and sword… and barely escaped with his life. With a steely resolve that belied his normal nature, Doritan snuck back a few nights later, and killed all of the bandits as they slept. With this one injustice solved, he turned his eye outward, slowly thinning out the crime in his hometown and gaining the nickname 'The Shadow,' due to his propensity to work at night and never be seen.

Eventually, he made his way to the city, where the ever-charming Doritan made a name for himself, competing in a few sporting events, ingratiating himself with the right people, and trying to improve life for the countrymen- justice for the peasants, purge the countryside of bandits, and trying to improve life in general. Eventually, one of his contacts led him to meet the right person, at the right place, at the right time, and found himself swept up in infiltrating a ball to swing a vote. He's still not entirely sure how it happened, either. It could have been a sporting event, his rising popularity amongst the pseudo-nobles, or his hidden passion for revolution amongst the masses. Still, he's willing to do whatever it takes, as either well-to-do commoner or as the Lion's Shadow, to reach new and great heights.

Personality:
Doritan is outwardly something of an easygoing, but aspiring, commoner trying to make a name for himself. However, inwardly, he's ruthless, and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Be it assassination, bribery, or stealing, he will do whatever he can to advance his cause- whatever that might be at the time. He's not 100% sure exactly what he wants to do, but he'll pursue it with ruthless efficiency.
