Yeah, I was very close to unconscious from the first hit; the second put me into the deep negatives - a higher damage roll would have taken me out immediately. Of course, if I'd been thinking and at least tried to tumble on the way in, then I might not have suffered the first hit in the first place.

He will be missed. I liked him.

If I'd been missed I might have pulled off my heroic rescue of Janira. :) (Although I decided to do it just as much because I suspected that the big goon was working with her to frighten the noobs.)

Next time I play in it, I'll have a squishy level one (and I'll choose one that has enough Wisdom not to charge anything bigger than he is.)

If I was, I might not have been quite so willing to test my assumption that that particular enemy was just pretending to be as dangerous as he appeared.

I've signed Hava up as an alternate. He already spent most of level one fighting the Shadow Lodge; may as well keep it up for level two.

Not me. I can do one thing fairly well, but I can still dance if I want to (but not especially well; especially when I roll a two).

That was a good session! Lots of fun, and I even managed to get to a couple of enemies before Baldwyn hammered them into paste.

I carry my father's dueling sword. Always said it was his Favorite Son when I was a kid, so that's what I call it now.
