I don't think Sealed Gate is as hard as some of the 4th season stuff. It's HOW it was written to be hard. A lot of obnoxious mechanics.
Mmmmm, delicious.

Hey! Those are my tears you stupid bear!

This will end well..

After the absurdity that was the Sealed Gate I have no intention of ever playing a Kyle Baird scenario again. And I wouldn't blame anyone else who took the same approach.
My store is also considering baring all Kyle Baird scenarios except Confirmation.

Sounds like a reasonable position.

Scenarios like 6-01/02/03 reward characters who are well-rounded. If all you can do is one thing really well, you are hooped when that one thing doesn't work.
I vehemently disagree, these scenario's punish well rounded players, the technologist feat is a specialization, and without it, all the other well rounded skills become useless.

I'm going to take a wild guess that either you haven't played 6-03 or didn't really play 6-03.

This is a timely thread because just this week I had the unfortunate experience to run a scenario with a complete fun sponge who effectively soloed it, completely trivializing the rest of the party.

I swear I wasn't there!

An argument for why Kyle Baird should be banned

Sealed Gate - #funsponge

Is that something that is full of fun, or something that sucks the fun out of the night? Is it good or bad?

It is both.

Woe be the scenario that forces a paladin to think in order to advance the Society's goals whilst staying true to their beliefs.

Expanded Narrative: Some stories are best told a dozen times, and some adventure sites benefit from a second visit. When you GM a Pathfinder Society scenario or other sanctioned adventure, record the adventure’s name and date of completion on one of the lines below. When you fill all of the spaces in a section, you regain the ability to replay an adventure for credit or receive a Chronicle sheet from an adventure you GM—effectively “recharging” one of your free replay opportunities earned by achieving one or more GM stars. Each subsequent section you complete “recharges” another GM star’s replay potential. You can never use GM star replay to earn credit for an adventure more than once.
You can only use one Expanded Narrative boon per season of Pathfinder Society Organized Play, and you can only “recharge” a number of replay opportunities with this boon equal to the number of GM stars you have earned. For example, a 2-star GM could recharge both replay opportunities during a season. If she then earned her third GM star, she could use it to replay a scenario and GM seven more games to recharge the third star.
