Liberty's Edge

I am considering playing the Counterfeit Mage archetype for Rogue the next time I play in a PF 1e game (whenever that might be), but have an interesting question.

The first level Counterfeit Mage ability as 1/2 level to a number skills and checks, including checks to activate scrolls and wands. The problem I find is that to activate a scroll, the reader must be either an arcane or divine spell caster. So, the question is what's the point in being able to add half my level to checks to activating scrolls when I can't do so without being a spell caster? And if I need to be a spell caster to activate scrolls what's the point in playing a Counterfeit Mage?

I'm not sure if this question has been asked before, but if it has it's certainly been drowned out. Regardless, for the purpose of the Fast Healer feat does getting fast healing as a class feature (Spelleater archetype of the Bloodrager being the class that gets it while raging) count as magical healing?

Thanks for the advice in advance.

Liberty's Edge

I'm sure this question has been asked a few times before, so I apologise on that front. In one of my campaigns, my players have started investing in Buildings in a small settlement as a way of generating a stable income outside of adventuring. Which is commendable, but the Ultimate Campaign rules have me a little stumped.

Reading through UC, it says that using a building to generate GP is rolling a D20, adding the bonuses and then dividing by ten and then using the decimal point for silver and copper. But it seems to be vague on whether that same formula also applies to generating Capital except without the decimal point. With that (probably crappy) lead up, my question is - is the formula or not or am I missing something?
