Teufel, Tielfing Inquisitor
1. Why are you a pathfinder?
It is not a simple answer for a simple sounding question. Since you are fellow agents, I will tell you. Mostly, I am here to serve my Lord Mephistopheles in the search for the knowledge for him to make his contracts. What better place to find information is there? He also loves the Chelaxian information I feed him from the inside. Yes, I work with(Some would say for) the Paracountess.
I also seek the knowledge that will allow me to re-negotiate my contract with him. I love my career with him, but he doesn't care for a valued tool like he should.
2. Do you have a name and surname that is not ripped straight out of existing Earth mythology or popular culture?
My name is Teuful. I will not give out my surname, as I do not know it myself. I suppose if I find out what devil spawned me, I might find my surname.
3. Which nation did you grow up in? How did this nation influence you?
I was raised in Cheliax, a tough place for one that doesn't worship Asmodeus. In case someone in that nation is reading this message, I won't reveal where I was trained. Cheliax did leave an impression on me, one that order always wins. It just changes hands sometimes.
4. What do you look like? What are your wearing? How does this vary when you’re stalking through forests, sewers, deserts or in glittering cities?
I am a 5ft 7in tall, 190lbs large, Tiefling. I have black hair, which is of medium length. I have red-orange eyes, small horns, a maw of sharp pointy teeth, a dull red tail, and cloven hooves. My skin has a dark red tan to it.
I tend to dress somewhat low-key, typical adventurer clothing. I wear a finely made breastplate, no mater the location. I am used to the differing climates on account of my race, so I do not change for the weather. In cities, I try to hide some of the aspects of my heritage. Some people have such hatred for my kind.
5. What do you love? (Treasure and experience doesn't count)
Law. Specifically, contracts. A well organized person/society functions many levels above more chaotic ones. Contracts make sure I am repaid for the healing I provide.
6. What do you hate? (Unclear and irritating darkness level rules don’t count)
Total anarchy. And demons. A person or society in total chaos will be erratic, unpredictable, and uncontrollable. Demons are the mortal enemy of Mephistopheles, and I have been trained to pursue those creatures.
7. Which other Pathfinders (PCs) do you rely on for teamwork, survival and butt-kicking? Do you have a bro? a mentor? a father figure? maybe a rival?
I am still a new recruit. I've yet to find a rival (Although that aasimar was looking at me funny the other day). So far, I've relied on a peculiar human name Bard. He tends to shoot the things that I want dead. However, if he doesn't wait for me to find the legal way to free those hell-blasted slaves he wants freed, I may have to add another stipulation to the next healing contract I have him sign.
8. How does your race influence your views? Are you a stereotype of a certain race? How are you different from most humans/elves/gnomes/orcs/tengu?
I think I am a stereotype of a Tiefling. I serve a devil, have the whole evil look, and enforce the law of Mephistopheles.
Yet I am not a pointless villain, like many of my race. I know when a law has gone too far, and I make sure I am a productive member of the society first, a self-centered devil second.
9. What are you afraid of? Do you have any phobias or worries?
My biggest fear is the Chelaxian government accusing me of worshiping some devil other than Asmodeus, or finding the temple. Mephistopheles would be upset at the lost tools, but I grew up with those people, and I refuse to let them die at the hands of the Hellknights, should it come to that.
10. What is your most treasured possession?
My set of Absalonian Law. Without those books, my contracts would not have the loo... I mean, terms I need. I can always sign a contract for new weapons, holy symbols, armor, or whatnot. Those books allow me to do so, however.
