Born shortly after Ashfall, Tess grew up in the Mithril Mtn’s. Daughter to a mineworker she was always looking for ways to dig faster and safer. She quickly learned about the Science known as Alchemy. After much testing, some failures and some successes she quickly learned how Alchemy worked. Unfortunately there were some consequences to her new chosen profession. Tess became scarred for life. Having destroyed a pinky on her left and and some acid scaring on her face and arms. The dwarves of the Mtn decided that she either needed to give up her experiments or leave the relative safety of the halls and live in exile. In her growing passion for alchemy she chose exile. Now she spends her time traveling between Haddon's reach and Saranell trying to learn more about Alchemy.
