SPECIAL ABILITIES
=================================================
+2 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, -2 Charisma Androids have swift reflexes and are very intelligent, but have difficulty relating to others.

Alien Origins (Silver Mount) You are in some way tied to a mysterious alien monument, but you have forgotten an important piece of your past. Perhaps you were a metallurgist's experiment gone awry, a rediscovered automaton that escaped, or the result of some equally enigmatic phenomenon. Regardless, your unusual origins mark you as somehow different from others, and you know the gaps in your memory hold the key to your past. You start play with a unique compass that doesn't point north and is riddled with indecipherable alien markings-the only object you have that you know to be tied to your home. In addition, your inscrutable mannerisms give you a +2 trait bonus on opposed Bluff checks.

Constructed For the purposes of effects targeting creatures by type (such as a ranger's favored enemy and bane weapons), androids count as both humanoids and constructs. Androids gain a +4 racial bonus on all saving throws against mind-affecting effects, paralysis, poison, and stun effects, are not subject to fatigue or exhaustion, and are immune to disease and sleep effects. Androids can never gain morale bonuses, and are immune to fear effects and all emotion-based effects.

Darkvision (Ex) Range 60 ft.; Darkvision is the extraordinary ability to see with no light source at all, out to a range specified for the creature. Darkvision is black and white only (colors cannot be discerned). It does not allow characters to see anything that they could not see otherwise-invisible objects are still invisible, and illusions are still visible as what they seem to be. Likewise, darkvision subjects a creature to gaze attacks normally. The presence of light does not spoil darkvision.

Air You can manipulate lightning, mist, and wind, traffic with air creatures, and are resistant to electricity damage.

Domains

Druid Domain (Ex) You may not choose an animal companion. You must choose the Air or Weather domain, or the Cloud, Storm, or Wind subdomain.

Emotionless Androids have problems processing emotions properly, and thus take a -4 penalty on Sense Motive checks.

Exceptional Senses Androids have darkvision to a range of 60 feet and low-light vision. They also gain a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.

Favored Class Bonus (Druid) Gain electricity resistance 1. Each time the druid selects this reward, increase her resistance to electricity by 1 (maximum 10).

Languages Androids begin play speaking Common. Androids with high Intelligence can choose any languages they want (except secret languages, such as Druidic).

Lightning Arc (Sp) As a standard action you can unleash an arc of electricity targeting any foe within 30 feet as a ranged touch attack. This arc of electricity deals 1d6 points of electricity damage. You can use this ability 5 times per day.

Local Ties (Knowledge (Engineering)) You have ties to a prominent local in the town of Torch--the missing wizard Khonnir Baine. If you're a wizard, alchemist, or other scholarly type, he may have been your tutor or teacher. If you're of a more martial bent, Khonnir could instead have been a friend or business associate of your mother, father, or patron. He may even have been your adoptive father, in which case you likely have a bond of friendship or rivalry with his adopted daughter Val (your GM has more information on her in this case if you wish to know more for your character's background). Your association with Khonnir has given you insight into how technology works. Choose Disable Device or Knowledge (engineering). You gain a +1 trait bonus on checks with this skill, and it is a class skill for you. In addition, you are treated as if you possessed the Technologist feat for the purposes of resolving checks associated with that skill. If you gain the Technologist feat, your trait bonus for the selected skill increases to +3.

Low-Light Vision (Ex) You can see x2 as far as humans in low illumination. Characters with low-light vision have eyes that are so sensitive to light that they can see twice as far as normal in dim light. Low-Light Vision is color vision. A spellcaster with low-light vision can read a scroll as long as even the tiniest candle flame is next to her as a source of light. Characters with low-light vision can see outdoors on a moonlit night as well as they can during the day.

Nanite Surge An android's body is infused with nanites. Once per day as an immediate action, an android can cause her nanites to surge, granting a bonus equal to 3 + the android's character level on any one d20 roll; this ability must be activated before the roll is made. When an android uses this power, her circuitry-tattoos glow with light equivalent to that of a torch in illumination for 1 round.

Nature Bond (Ex) You may not choose an animal companion. You must choose the Air or Weather domain, or the Cloud, Storm, or Wind subdomain.

Nature Sense (Ex) You gain a +2 bonus on Knowledge (Nature) and Survival skill checks.

Orisons You can prepare a number of orisons, or 0-level spells. These spells are cast like any other spells, but they are not expended when used and may be used again.

Spontaneous Domain Casting You can channel stored spell energy into domain spells that you have not prepared ahead of time. You can "lose" a prepared spell in order to cast any domain spell of the same level or lower.

Wild Empathy

Wild Empathy (Ex) You can improve the attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like Diplomacy check made to improve the attitude of a person. You roll 1d20+1 to determine the Wild Empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly. To use Wild Empathy, you and the animal must be within 30 feet of one another under normal circumstances. Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute, but as with influencing people, it might take more or less time. You can use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2, but you take a -4 penalty on the check.

Background:

When Teodoriga awoke, she found herself in the middle of a massive lightning storm! She couldn’t remember much besides her name or how she got there, but it was better than just sitting around and getting struck by lightning. Strangely, as she made her way away from the strange capsule from which she had arisen from, she discovered she enjoyed the winds blowing through her hair, the feel of the rain on her naked skin, and the lightning flashing and thunder booming above her head. The android even found the storm to be quite calming. The android knew what she was, but, even so, Teodoriga continued to walk forth into the storm and the unknown, battered by rain and wind. All she possessed was a strange compass that didn't point north and was riddled with indecipherable alien markings that she would later realize bore a strange resemblance to Druidic runes. She wandered the wilderness for at least two years, until a man named Khonnir Baine discovered her, having heard of a strange woman or machine that seemed to be spotted during heavy storms, although he was a bit embarrassed and shocked that she had lived out in the wilderness for a couple of years completely naked saved for what garments she could salvage together. Taking pity on Teodoriga, he brought her back to the town of Torch, where the android was raised alongside Khonnir’s other foster daughter, Val. The two became good friends, almost like siblings, although Val insisted that Teodoriga was her older sibling, even though the android was younger than her. In time, Teodoriga came to see Khonnir as a father figure.

With his and Val’s aid, Teodoriga was able to understand much of who she was. She also began to appreciate the natural beauty of the world around her, especially enjoying lightning storms and high winds. From travelers passing by, the android heard of a deity named Shelyn who was sometimes worshipped by druids who guarded places of natural beauty. Curious about this divine being, Teodoriga began to learn as much as she could about the Eternal Rose. She also began to study the ancient ways of druids, especially those who could harness the powers of lightning and wind. Her studies eventually enable her to develop some resistance to electricity, giving her an edge over wandering machines. Teodoriga began to believe that nature and technology could live in harmony. She eventually left her foster father and sister behind to study aboard, hoping to learn more about nature’s beauty as well as acquire more power over storms as she believed that the power of lightning was the key to achieving a harmony between technology and the natural world. After a few years, she has heard that something has happened to the town of Torch, and while most androids are emotionless, Teodoriga began to exhibit feelings of worry about her foster family. Had the powers of wind, lightning, and air somehow began to unlock hidden emotions within her? She did not know. All that she knew was that her foster family maybe in danger was her only concern as she returned to Torch.

Description:

Teodoriga is a very tall female android with pale skin and orange hair, which she keeps in a long braided ponytail that reaches to the small of her back, a style that Val showed her and said that it made the android looked attractive and pretty. She continues this style even today. She has orange circuitry marking her entire body, especially on her face, legs, and arms. She tends to leave her legs and arms uncovered, which shows off her circuitry. Her eyes, which have a slight metallic sheen to them, are a dark blue color. The android tends to either wear sandals or goes barefoot, usually the latter rather than the former is the norm. She wears a long loincloth in the front and back that billows in the wind and when she moves. She wears a wooden holy symbol of Shelyn as well as holly and mistletoe around her neck. Teodoriga also wields a scythe, seeing the weapon as a symbol of the wind’s fury and wrath, allowing her to cut down those who would bring harm to either nature or her friends.

Despite appearing to be a young woman in her early 20s, she is actually only 9 years old!

Personality:

Teodoriga is a strange android. While she is indeed emotionless, there are times when she exhibits emotions that even surprise her. She does not know why she is able to exhibit emotions, but believes it to be part of her mysterious origins. Her ability to possess druidic magics might also be a part of her origins as well, but no one is sure, not even her foster father Khonnir was completely sure. Still, Teodoriga is fascinated with storms, winds, and lightning, seeing them as beautiful while at the same time knowing full well how dangerous they can be, having been struck once or twice during her first year upon awakening. The android is loyal to her friends, although she is quite curious about others, trying to understand how others live, believing that as a druid it is her duty to understand how others live in order to aid them in living with harmony with nature.
