I think it was lifting boxes full of mini's.

And so do I, although in no way will Tenbris' post be as good as these.

Magus/1

Yep, or that's what he chided me for in chat last night :P

Anyway, I'm back to watch the folk-metal concert in a few hours.

Magus/1

Yep, anything we can do to alleviate the pressure is good. And whoop Ciri!

Magus/1

Yay, for pin being back home & his idea for the campaign start is even more awesomer and enbiggerer.

:P

Pretty decent. Started up classes again yesterday. So that's cool. I have my house warming tomorrow. If any of you find yourself in Tempe, Arizona let me know, you're welcome to stop by as adventuring kin haha!

Unfortunately didn't manage to get across though I hope it was fun with you. We ended up with just a touch of friend drama, but a good time was had at the house warming. And the jousting was really great too, makes me glad I have a cavalier PC elsewhere.

Magus/1

Off to watch a jousting tournament tomorrow and then a friends house-warming, it should be fun :)

How's everyone else's week?

Ten wanders around the camp ensuring that all is well, his easy smile slides back across his face and a soft tune flows from his lips. It's been a while since he had returned to the town and it should prove interesting, even for one with such little coin.

Though he's not one to hoard material possessions, he does enjoy the finer things in life upon occasion. These thoughts remind him of that night we the Kapesh dancer and the tune becomes a bit more jaunty.

Yay, my week of being super-busy and consuming regular quantities of alcohol is over. Now to relax a bit.

Magus/1

DIVE HAWKMEN! DIVE!

Magus/1

Yep, but we pack alot in. If I travel South for 60 miles or so, I'll probably pass 5 million people. But then again I live in a fairly remote region.

:)

PS. Chibi mini's arrived and no customs tax! Plus they are amazing looking, if quite vast size fluctuations.

Magus/1

Well you can always call Oladon, she's in Colorado. Yeah, cause it's like the counties in England where they are only 30 miles across :P

Anyway, yay really excited plus my Festival was amazing & next year Emperor!

Magus/1

:D

Yay, Kanmu - that sounds brilliant. Looking good.

Well, I'm off to a music festival from Thursday 8th until Monday. But feel free to start/continue without me.

Sounds like a fun evening, pinvendor. One of the few games I've not played yet. Sorry I missed you yesterday.

Magus/1

Yep, I'll be around whenever too. Heck once I even managed to push a campaign on-wards when the GM vanished for about 6 weeks, that was very tough.

Though that reminds me, must finish the crunch-y stuff.

Knowing that the most important resource in any caravan is the consumables. Tenbris has politely approached the Chef for the wagons - though most had minor facilities to cook their own meals, it was preferable to have a communal evening meal. This allows bonding, as well as making certain there's no problems with smoke, fire or luring the twilight's creatures to attack.

Thus, the learned magus approached her in the last but one departure point. He had heard good things about the wagon & wagon-master but knew that another hand would always be welcome - especially for the pittance he would be recompensed with.

Magus/1

Owww.... I did have to make a level 18 4th Edition PC. That was a lot of fun, but my brain exploded and I had to buy 2 extra books.

It could be even more insane in PF - especially if you were wanting to create gouda.

Magus/1

Cool, stat stuff is annoying - though at least we start as level 1!

Magus/1

Ten could easily have got a job as a guard for the caravan, just a simple job - he doesn't require much pay, but it'd allow him to do his duty and keep people safe from bandits.

Magus/1

That works well, in Tenbris' long life he has walked many places - however recently he has travelled to the North and been to Everstand before.

Tenbris has heard that his wife and twin daughters were ambushed by orcs, during a caravan trading trip. So he realises the rage he has against the creatures; thus his trip to Lastwall to work through these emotions. Also he had heard about an oracle in the woods capable of scrying for his lost loved ones.

Hmmm I wonder if it's an oval ball (US Football, rugby), spherical (football, handball) or smaller.

;)

Man, way better than my scores! Way to go!

Well yours aren't too bad (bar the fun 6!) And who cares about the exactly numbers (sort of)

Magus/1

Let's see if we can make the PC better than 16 point buy...

Re-Roll #1: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Re-roll #2: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Re-roll #5: 1d6 ⇒ 6

So that's 12, 15, 15, 11, 17, 12 Cool!

Magus/1

Since no-one else (bar ODV) has said:
I fancy rolling....
Roll #1: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 6, 1) = 13
Roll #2: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 1, 3) = 13
Roll #3: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 6, 5) = 17
Roll #4: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 5, 2) = 13
Roll #5: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 1, 6) = 14
Roll #6: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 3, 5) = 15

So that's 12,12,15,11,13,12 nicely above average with some re-rolls.

Magus/1

I do!!!

I was just waiting to see whether we roll or not -before finishing it off.

Magus/1

"I'm easy"

I'm happy to go wherever, of course he'll be slightly suspicious of the half-orc....
¬_¬

Magus/1

I get to leave my mark on people, with an Arcane Mark!
:P
Tramp-stamps for all ;)

Magus/1

Yeah, I might just roll the dice. Here's sort of my PC, still need tweaking (unless I go for my scarf dancer).

And the name might change.... because I am just that decisive.

:?
