Roxanne Carly lived the American Dream, growing up in the affluent suburbs on Long Island. She had a charmed life with two loving parents and a dog. As an only child she was doted on by her parents and her life was filled with extra curricular activities from baseball to ballet.

In high school it became clear that Roxanne was a natural and gifted athlete lettering in soccer, gymnastics, and field hockey as well as football as she was the teams kicker. She excelled in gymnastics and if she wasn’t so tall she might have made the Olympic team. However, while she was a superb athlete she was not a particularly bright student but she was driven always making the honor roll because of her perseverance. As a result of her athletic prowess Roxanne received a full scholarship to MIT, Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a pre-med student.

Despite her rigorous academic schedule and demanding gymnastics practices Roxanne still had time for social engagements, finding a boyfriend, Gavin St. Clair, a gifted artist, and a cause with the University’s Environmental Awareness Club. Even doing an internship at O.R.C.A. (Organization for Responsible Climate Awareness).

Her world changed when her mutant powers manifested She found her new normal

Appearance:

Roxanne is tall and athletic, standing close to six feet tall, with a well-muscled build. She has long and ropey limbs of corded muscle and sinew a testament to hours spent in the gym. The fit woman has a hauntingly beautiful face that always looks like she’s about to laugh or scowl. Her features are proportionate and pleasing, she possesses a straight nose and a full mouth, with large green eyes framed by long, full lashes that set off a gaze that is both knowing and penetrating. Roxanne’s alabaster skin is as flawless and milky as fresh cream and stands in stark contrast to the dark locks of hair that appear to absorb the light around it. Her raven colored hair is long and flowing, cascading down to the middle of her back. The strapping long-limbed beauty is most often dressed in black.

Power Descriptions/Rules:

Electrical Generation: The hero can create electrical streams that can do Power rank damage. The hero can project the electricity through any conductive medium, such as air, water, or metal, at Power rank range. If the player chooses, the hero can gain +2CS to his damage by choosing to limit his range to contact only. In this case, the range can be extended by conducting the Power through solid conductors like metal.

Electricity comes in various forms:
• Static electricity causes magnetic attraction between objects and can disrupt electronic communications.
• Lightning is sheer, raw, destructive power and by far the most popular form of this Power.
• Alternating current is what our technology is driven by. This Power can either energize or overload normal electrical devices.
• Direct current is what a battery produces. It can energize or overload devices that use DC power. It can also short out devices that use AC power.

The hero can use any form at will or can raise his rank +1CS by specializing in a particular form. This Power automatically includes Power rank Resistance to Electricity; no FEAT is required to resist your own Power.

Weather Control: The hero with this Power has the ability to manipulate the forces of weather Using this Power, the hero can duplicate several Power stunts of other control abilities, and in addition create new stunts as well. Weather Control Power stunts cost only 50 Karma points, not the normal 100 points. The hero does not begin with any Power stunts: all Power stunts must be developed, and use the hero's Power rank to determine if they are successful.

• Reduce Weather Effects by Power rank ability.

Tracking Ability:The hero can detect and follow the tracks left by a specific target. The hero can detect environmental and spatial disturbances with the result that at high ranks the hero can actually track across deep space.

Environmental Awareness: Range column B. The hero has increased sensitivity to conditions in, disturbances in, and influences on the environment. The hero automatically maintains full knowledge of current conditions in his surroundings. This awareness extends to such factors as weather, chemicals, movement, and life.
The rank determines the range to which the awareness extends; exceeding it requires a FEAT (+1CS, green; +2CS, yellow; +3CS, red). The hero can gain +1CS by linking his Health to the environment. In this symbiosis, harm to the environment is reflected in the hero's physical welfare.

Absorption Power: The hero with this Power may absorb a certain specific type of damage (for example, fire-based damage, energy damage, or kinetic (physical) damage). Any attacks made in the specified mode inflict no damage; rather the damage is absorbed, healing existing damage and even temp- orarily raising the individual's Health by the Power rank involved. A hero with Health of 100 and Amazing (48) Electrical Absorption may be hit with a lightning bolt and have his Health raised to 148.

Damage above the rank number of the Power does inflict damage, but the points of such damage may be redirected towards opponents in the next round. Any such absorbed energy dissipates 10 rounds after it has been absorbed, and must be discharged before then or it is lost. Health loss is taken from the absorbed Power first, then from the actual Health of the hero. For example, the character with the Health of 100 raised to 148 takes 30 points of damage. These points are removed from the 48 extra points initially. If the effects of the energy wear off, the character still has 100 points of health.
