Backstory:

Tehuti had always had respect for his ancestors. As a citizen of Osiron, he, like many others had a huge amount of respect for the dead, so it naturally resulted in a huge shock when as a boy he returned home to discover his parents death at the hands of a cruel necromancer who had drawn upon his families own ancestors to do the deed. Tehuti never caught the necromancer that did the deed, and still hunts him to this day, but the event was significant in itself for created a period of doubt in Tehuti’s mind. The young boy believed that people had forgotten the simple practise of respecting the dead and swore eternal vengeance against all those that woke those that slept.
To some extent, this belief due to the tragedy in his childhood, for Tehuti firmly believed that eventually there would be a necromancer strong enough to wake the pharaohs of old, and bend them to his will. Alternatively, he worried that a foolhardy grave robber could trigger a sequence of events that would allow an undead plague to occur. Tehuti was no fool, he had heard the stories of the legendary Whispering Tyrant, and while that level of evil power no longer existed, he believed it would only be a matter of time. Determined to be ready for such an occurrence, Tehuti threw himself headfirst into his Paladin training, hating the fact that part of his training dealt with hatred of undead creatures themselves – Tehuti himself believed the fault lay with the necromancers that raised the undead, rather than the undead themselves.
His training continued, but Tehuti still had one huge obstacle to overcome – the problem of his own mortality. This, in itself, was a rather heavy thought for a young adult to think about, but Tehuti was a long term thinker, and began to research ways to attain similar longevity as the undead creatures his enemies would control. Eventually he came across an ancient text illustrating the fabled Living Monoliths of old, the famous tomb guardians and upholders of justice, living statues giving life by the sphinxes. The text struck a chord with Tehuti, who saw it as an opportunity to protect the rest of the dead across countless ages.
With his plan in place, Tehuti joined the Pathfinder Society, a rather awkward choice, but Tehuti had pledged himself to the Diamond Sage to preserve and protect the ancient treasures of Osiron, and joining the Pathfinder Society was an excellent tool to accomplish this. Furthermore, the Pathfinder Society did allow him to occasionally run into the occasional tomb raider, or the Aspis Corporation with its shifty aims, and Tehuti always privately enjoyed dishing out a bit of justice.
Tehuti is a typically sterner Paladin than others of his order. A very devout individual with great respect for those that had passed on, Tehuti will butt heads with any necromancers he works with, but will get along just fine with anyone else. While he can be stern, he does enjoy the ability to relax, have a laugh with friends and so on. Always happy to lend a hand to anyone in need, Tehuti spends most of his spare time studying Osiron and reading up on its history. Tehuti is conservative in dress, and is an honest and reliable friend to all that know the Paladin.
