Looks like Erfer needs a little help! "Try this on for size, halfling!" Tazdara holds up her right hand to her side, palm facing upwards. She focuses her eyes in Erfer's direction as a glowing ball of yellow air swirls in her hand. She swings her right hand out in front of her and the yellow swirl unfurls into a ribbon of light and accelerates towards Erfer. His body glows for a moment and then the light fades. Fortune cast. Erfer, roll your next attack, save, or skill or ability check(can only choose one) twice and pick the better of the two. Fortune smiles on you, friend!

Not only do we have another pack of unruly goblins, but their giant pet dog, too? This should be interesting.

Tazdara rolls her eyes at Erfer's display of fascination."Well, Erfer, now's the time to make up for all the daydreaming back there. Let's head over to the North Gate!" She then turns to Azgar who has made his way back to her shoulder. She pulls out a corn kernel or two and feeds it to him. "Azgar, who don't you go scout ahead so we know what we're running into." With a ruffle of feathers and a few clacks of his beak he nods his head and flies off heading north.

Round 3: Tazdara is still standing on J-6 "All this fighting must make you soooo very tired..." Tazdara raises her outstretched palm to her mouth and with a long exhale through pursed lips, blows her breath over her palm in the direction of the goblin. A swirl of misty air envelops the immediate area. Sleep is cast. Let's hope it works! spell details: Area: one or more living creatures within a 10-ft.-radius burst; causes a magical slumber to come upon 4 HD of creatures. Creatures with the fewest HD are affected first. Among creatures with equal HD, those who are closest to the spell's point of origin are affected first. HD that are not sufficient to affect a creature are wasted. Sleeping creatures are helpless. Slapping or wounding awakens an affected creature, but normal noise does not. Awakening a creature is a standard action (an application of the aid another action). Sleep does not target unconscious creatures, constructs, or undead creatures.

Tazdara focuses her sights on Myrn and chants under her breath while holding out her hand in Myrn's direction. A ray of yellow light swirls from her palm and wraps around him before it dissolves into the air. Tazdara casts fortune on Myrn. (a bit of good luck for 1 round. The target can call upon this good luck once per round, allowing him to reroll any ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check, taking the better result. He must decide to use this ability before the first roll is made.)

Tazdara draws her crossbow. Aiming the tip of her arrow at the goblin leader, she fires. Let's see how you like this... crossbow 70': 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17 And just in case I hit her...haha

Azgar rolls all three of his black eyes. Tazdara also seems unmoved by Myrn's blatant flirtations and self-flattery. "In fact I did get injured, but I handled it. Women aren't just good at stitching cloth and scrubbing pots, you know! I'm not your average damsel-in-distress type, anyway." Her eyes catch a glimpse of Myrn's stomach where the goblin's blade made a strike. Although healed, there was still some dried blood on the armor. With a bit of a smirk she points out,"I see you got scraped up a bit yourself." Tazdara turns her attention to Erfer, and with a smile,"It seems you are no stranger to combat yourself. You made quick work of that goblin!"

Tazdara walks over to Myrn. Azgar flutters back to her shoulder and quawks,"Goblin! Saw you coming! He split! Split!" Tazdara smirks,"Don't mind Azgar. That's his way of thanking you for your help back there. I suppose I should thank you as well, and your quick halfling friend. It seems we are a good team."

spells left for the day:
The gash in her leg slowly comes to a close and stops bleeding, leaving a trace of a scar. " Ah, much better."
Tazdara takes another 5 ft step back and draws her crossbow from behind her back. Aim...Fire! attack(crossbow): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

"Aaahh!! Tazdara cries out in pain and stumbles backwards, clutching at her leg as dark red blood seeps through her skirts. She tries to hold back tears as she mumbles an incantation; a soft yellow light envelops her hand as she hovers it over her wound. Tazdara smiles courteously at the younger of the two women. Azgar's eyes are greedily transfixed on shiny objects on the table, mesmerized by the way they capture the light and make it dance. "On the contrary, I've rather enjoyed speaking with your mother. It's hard to find someone that can jolt my mind as she did. I am Tazdara, and this is my raven, Azgar. He seems to like your mother's trinkets and wares, especially that beautiful ring. The color of the stone is so intense." Tazdara eyes the ring more closely. It looks familiar, in a strange way that beckons me. "How did you come by such an item?"

The last thing the mysterious woman said sticks in her mind. I wonder what that means, exactly. I suppose only Pharasma can reveal this. I just hope She takes her sweet time getting here to tell me, because I have a feeling the news will not be good. She turns her head towards Azgar, his three eyes still focused on the dazzling butterflies that have escaped the nets of playful children. She reaches out her hand to caress the top of his head, only revealing a momentary flash of worry in her green eyes. As she lets out a sigh, "Azgar, what have you gotten me into this time?"

Tazdara, belly full, makes her way out of the loud Rusty Dragon, Azgar not far behind. With a "Bwaaak!" he lands on her shoulder. "Azgar, go make yourself useful and see if you can spot anything interesting going on." With that he rolls his eyes and flies off. He returns a bit later with something in his beak. A gold ring with a stone, the color akin to blood. It looks hundreds of years old, and passed through many generations. She holds it up to the sunlight and it shimmers and twinkles. This looks familiar. Where have I seen this before? She holds out her hand under Azgar's beak and he releases it with a ruffle of his dark feathers. Tazdara's eyes search the bustling crowd for the vendor's table that she passed by earlier. She finds the table, tucked away in a corner. It's covered with luxurious silks and beads, trinkets of various cultures, their values ranging from cheap to barely affordable. A stick or two of strong incense perfume the air. "Excuse me, but I believe this is yours. My pesky raven can't resist shiny objects and doesn't abide by common laws of ownership." Appraise: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19

Tazdara takes a single plate with a smile, "Still haven't lost your flair for entertaining I see." Tazdara samples a bite of salmon, and her eyes silently exclaim compliments; she even allows Azgar a nibble. "You've become quite the enchanting cook as well! Maybe I will take two plates!"

Tazdara wants to try that salmon everyone's positively raving about. Azgar is more interested in the butterflies, but knows better. and settles for some more corn and the occasional worm. They're going to wander around and fiddle with trinkets at merchant tables and such. |
