Background
Tarja lives with her father and younger brother on a farm outside of Pebble Mill. They keep small herds of pigs, sheep, and goats, and also have an apple orchard, and a small vegetable garden for their personal use. Her mother passed years ago, and as her father has gotten older Tarja has gradually taken over more work on their farm. Her brother helps out with the bare minimum that's asked of him, but has shown little interest in taking over the family farm. Tarja does not mind, as she has been well-suited to the work and finds it satisfying.
She is a devoted worshipper of Abarin, and though her own life as a farmer does not directly reflect Abarin's values, she is proud of her community and her own place supporting the people in it. Tarja gets along amicably with most in the town, but she is often preoccupied with work to be done on the farm and can come across as standoffish.
