About Tari Annaré
Short version of background:
Tari was a normal farm girl, living with her elven father outside of Sandpoint.She started to develop magical powers and hints of her draconic heritage in her teenage years, like all sorcerers do, but kept it a secret from her father to keep him from becoming ostracized by the community. Later on, she decided to travel with her friend Tess (the heir to a family of nobles who had a summer home in Tari's hometown, who were friends of the Annaré family) to the city to help her regain what rightfully belonged to her family. Tari lost track of Tess during the goblin raid on Sandpoint. Afterward, she learned from Madam Mvashti that the powers and physical changes that she had been experiencing were because of the draconic blood in her veins (skin gradually getting more of a bronze tone, nails forming into claws, magical ability, etc.), and that she was a sorcerer, not a wizard like she had thought. Tari's with the group to help protect Sandpoint and her allies, and if she can use her "gifts" to do so, so much the better.
