Tam comes from an auxilliary branch of the Medvyed family, and as such is far a way from court politics. This suits him just fine. His imidiate family owns an operates a trading post in the Gronzi forest, along the East Sellen River. They buy and sell furs and other equipment that the locals cannot easily make. He has never wanted for food or clothing, and has even been able to afford the occasional luxury. Though there were years that he and his family would consider tough, he does not know true poverty.
Animal and bandit attacks are not unheard of at the trading post. The wolf attack that gave Tam his distinctive cloak made him see life differently. He took it as his duty as a follower of Erastil and as a Medvyed to protect the post and the small settlement starting to grow up around it.
Years have passed and the post is no longer small and insignificant. A sizable village has sprung up and now has a full time guard. Animal and bandit attacks are now rare. Tam has been a bit too shy to have married and started a family of his own. Finding that little remains for him in his old home, Tam finds the call of the stolen lands to be exactly what he needs.
