Talon Greymane was a little-known halfling warrior in his home of Kalsgard, in the Ulfenlands. He grew up with a desire to make a name for himself, to show that small peoples can also be mighty. Talon's clan was an old one, well-rooted in the Ulfen culture, and Talon was able to tap into his rage during battle like the Ulfen warriors around him. He lusted for adventure.
One day, Talon heard a tale from the Inner Sea: Ulfen warriors were being hired in a dying kingdom called Taldor, to protect the emperor. For their service, they were paid with all the treasure they could carry.
Talon decided his future right then, to join the Ulfen Guard and earn his respect in the Inner Sea. Talon trained everyday for months, waiting for the end of his education and the beginning of his epic journey. Finally it came, and Talon set sail for Taldor.
He arrived in a decadent city, full of overly-perfumed peacocks. The city made him feel tougher each minute. The Ulfen Guard, however, reminded him how much more he had to learn. Talon applied for membership and, after a grueling initiation, was accepted. He felt one step closer to his destiny.
Talon served well, even earning the thanks of the emperor for Talon's actions during the Ustalavan Enclave attack of AR 4708. After his time was up, he took his well-earned reward and purchased a home in the hills outside the city, charming his superiors into allowing the small halfling multiple loads of treasure. Talon had come to appreciate Taldor. It was an amazing city, full of wondrous sights and endless people. The land was gentler, and that bred weaker people, but Talon was beginning to see that wasn't always a bad thing. Talon looked forward to exploring this new land, and even signed on to work with local merchants and politicians. Talon's future was bright.
But it wouldn't last. As Talon grew to better know Taldor, he began to see the evil behind the lies. Conspirators, schemers, shadow-skulkers... they sprouted around him like weeds. Talon couldn't help but become entangled. He found himself carrying out twisted jobs on behalf of political interests, even witnessing the wholesale slaughter of entire families -- all in the name of "The Empire." It is Talon's greatest shame that he did nothing to bring the perpetrators of such crimes to justice.
Talon was disillusioned, torn apart by the horrible truth behind his adopted homeland. But in the deepest dark, the flame of hope can be seen all the clearer. Talon was lucky enough to find her: Lady Amiris. She was the emperor's great-niece, and shone like a beacon of hope and justice in Taldor. She was a magnificent woman, and used her power to fight injustice and push for reforms that would help Taldor eliminate corruption and provide for the commoners. Talon pledged himself to her service, hoping that he might help Taldor regain its glory in some small part. He was later gifted to Lady Glorianna to settle an outstanding debt, and has loyally served her in the Pathfinder Society.

Fierce halfling warrior from the Land of the Linnorn Kings, he was raised in a small, remote village of mixed races. Young, he was tempted by stories from a traveling druid about the kingdom of Taldor, and the Ulfen Guardsman there who protected the king in exchange for vast riches. He left, spending his time in the Guard honorably to make his adopted family proud. It was there he met [a minor taldan noble], who inspired him with her ideals. She showed him the manners of a civilized lifestyle, the value of honorable service. She taught him the pricelessness of mercy. The warrior was grateful, and pledged himself to her service. The warrior was later given to Lady Gloriana, in exchange for a great favor. His new Lady has requested his presence in the Pathfinder Society, so that he might assist her there.
