Tallagor cocks his head while the elf tries to talk to him, switching sides a couple of times, before tentatively sniffing at the small creature, and then taking a good, deep smell of it. Then he turns to the ground and begins trying to follow that scent.

Okay, there might be a reason this isn't a trained trick, yet.

The Cooshee tilts the head for a moment when told to attack a bed, but recognizes the activity happening UNDER it, and bounds to the far side of the bed, trying to reach under it to get the opponent, whatever it is.

Bite attempt w/ Bull: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 1 = 10
Piercing/Blunt w/ Bull: 1d6 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 2 = 6

The green beast cocks it's head as his companion tells him to guard something up there. The opening? He's guarded openings before! The big dog-thing goes to take a position in front of the opening to protect it from whatever may come.

Continuing to press the attack without conflicting instructions, the pack animal steps up to surround the target before trying to take it down.

Hearing a familiar command from a trusted source, the cooshee moves up to attack the closest target, trying to bite it.

Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Bunt and Piercing: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Smelling something new, the cooshee bumps against Luimener's leg before leading him towards the smell, trying to sneak up on whatever left it, in case they are still in the area. As he reaches the source of the scent, Tallagor verifies it is simply the scat, then nudges the rock with his muzzle before sitting back and waiting on Luimener.

The cooshee glares over the side of the boat, staring at the bodies Salaamati is manipulating.
