About Takeshi Yamashita
Emerald green eyes, short black hair
5'6" 135 lbs.
Takeshi hails from Absalom Station. The Yamashita family owns a shipping company with offices on the station and several of the Pact Worlds. As a youngster Takeshi showed a natural affinity and talent for mechanical and electronic devices and gadgetry. He "improved" the ai core of the family quarters at the age of six. By his tenth birthday the improvements proved incredibly useful to his father, who then determined he would apprentice with the shipping line experts.
At the age of 14 he developed his own AI, and by 16 he had, under the supervision of the line engineers, made upgrades to most of the ships in the fleet. As most any youth in Absalom the gangs and occasionaly pirate drew his imagination. He met a few of the less savory employees of the family business and through them met the occasional smuggler who he would offer to help with ship repairs and upgrades in exchange for piloting training. Along the way he picked up some of the smuggling trade skills and techniques.
Avoiding any real trouble with the authorities thus far he met a member of the Acquisitives faction of the Starfinder Society during one of his secret side trips to the Armada, and decided that the Acquisitive / Society life of an adventurer appealed to him more than the strictures imposed by the family business. Besides, what adventuring party wouldn't want a skilled mechanic/engineer with them?
