Computers: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32. T.I.M. easily hacks the datapad. +++There is a strange artifact the crew found while adrift after the planar impact in a hidden compartment near the Captain's station on the bridge+++

Now, if only some of us were Large-sized, and could actually use that equipment ;-) Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26. T.I.M. shares the information on the hidden datapad. +++Statement: Perhaps we should check the medbay... and be wary of explosives++

Reflex: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27. +++Tracking+++ T.I.M. initiates combat tracking, and opens fire! Holy Red Star Plasma Array: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18, for 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 Electricity/Fire damage.

Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25. +++Observation: There is a chest here. However, it is stuck closed+++ T.I.M. attempts to jimmy it open. Engineering: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (11) + 18 = 29. If Engineering is not appropriate, I can use Athletics; it is just 7 lower.

+++This unit does not sleep, and therefore does not experience something akin to rapid-eye-movement sleep-state. +++I have general skill modules uploaded, but my areas of expertise are xenoarchaeology and technology, with minors in medicine and mysticism. This unit is also rated to do some moderate heavy-lifting, and has a reasonable detection algorithm installed+++

A robotic organism, with a bulky computer screen for a 'face', rolls into the room on a set of tank treads, and makes a gesture of greeting with its hands. As it does so, the monitor flickers on, revealing a smiley-face. +++Greetings, fellow sentients! Truly, it is a blessing from the Omnissiah that our run-times continue upon this most glorious of days. I am T.I.M., The Incredible Machine, and I look forward to this mission, retrieving ancient technology+++ The monitor flickers, revealing a crimson frowney-face. +++If we encounter hostile life-forms, I will assist by burning them with plasma-fire+++ |
