Kaspar lets the magma beast go and turns his attention to the grey monster.

Symon is staggered by the heat and ferocity of the attack, and attempts to move away from the molten creature. There is a sudden gathering of darkness around the diminutive thief, then he is gone. Almost at the same time, shadows congeal behind the party and the fletching appears in their depth.

Kaspar continues his assault on the magma beast...his cold and deadly fists pummeling the monster.

Symon is withdrawing, using his shadow jump to move just behind the party.

Turning as the other motion behind him, Symon is shocked to see the magma beast coming after him.

"By the gods!", he yells as he turns and stabs at the creature. He calls Kaspar to strike at the beast as well.

Symon is lucky to be holding his breath as the poisonous gasses wash over him. He quickly backs out of the tight space and tells the others what he has seen.

"I could ask Kaspar to go check it out. The heat and gas should not be as dangerous to him."

Symon moves cautiously forward, watching for anything out of place or that may be a potential threat.

"Well looks like we found her. Do we return the body? Perhaps she can be raised....anyway, we have done what we were sent to do. Lets return the body and see what is next on the the list for us."

"I know nothing about magic, but maybe you could remove some of these plates...it might weaken the wall and allow us to recover more of the poor bastards. What a way to go...I wonder what happened?"

Symon and Kaspar stand off to the side, Symon's bow at the ready as they watch the odd creature write it's message.

Symon readies his sword and seems to speak with the shadows off to his right.

Symon speaks to Kaspar telling him to wait until combat starts before trying to get behind the creature his is fighting and distracting it.
