DESCRIPTION: With her calming green eyes, this composed girl puts you in mind of an elegant kestrel. Svetla's more blond than strawberry hair is shoulder-length and worn in a simple pony tail. She is short and has an hourglass build. Svetla's skin is the color of cream. She has a small nose, full lips and a pointed chin. The outfits she wears are simple, dignified and practical.

PAST:

Svetla ran away from home and a betrothal contract five years ago. In doing so, she has shamed her family, causing them to lose what little honor they had managed to gain through their hard working, honest ways. She managed to get by through selling the things she carved from wood for the first year.

In the second year, she chanced upon a retired swordswoman while traveling to the port city of Brons so she could apprentice herself to a Master Carpenter. By the time the caravan reached the port city, she found herself apprenticed to the swordswoman, whom had begun teaching her the blade as a way to pass the evenings. Over the next three years, she worked to hone her swordsmanship and become a skilled fighter.

One evening her teacher, Ixia Straightedge, told Svetla that she had been contacted by a former companion. He was asking her if she knew of anyone who would be worthy enough to join his younger brother on a venture he has taken up.

"I have decided to send you to fulfill this request," Ixia told Svetla. "I came to an important decision months ago."

"What decision?" thought Svetla as she waited for Ixia to continue.

"You are ready, Svetla." Ixia let her words sink in. "You need only to be tested in the heat of battle and perhaps this chance will allow you to undo the damages of the past."

"Gods willing," Svetla whispered.

Two days later, she was on the deck of a merchant vessel with her Mistress' letter of endorsement safely amongst her belongings.

Svetla's attacks the nearest foe with her longsword, helping to flank one when able.

So long as Svetla has more than a third of her hit points, if a comrade has fallen & Svetla is nearer than one of the Clerics, she will take a Standard Action to Stabilize them with her Sacred Touch.

Svetla's is here at her teacher's request. She is going to take cues from Sondergang so long as she is working along side him.

If the party becomes separated, Svetla will work on getting the group back together.

Weapon Focus [Long Sword] (Human): You gain a +1 bonus on all attack rolls you make using the selected weapon.

Lightning Reflexes (Fighter 1): You get a +2 bonus on all Ref lex saving throws.

Improved Initiative (Level 1): You get a +4 bonus on initiative checks.

Dazzling Display (Fighter 2): While wielding the weapon in which you have Weapon Focus, you can perform a Dazzling Display as a full-round action. Make an Intimidate check against all foes within 30 feet who can see you. You can substitute an attack roll in place of your Intimidate check if your attack bonus is higher.

Power Attack (Level 3): You can choose to take a –1 penalty on all melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks to gain a +2 bonus on all melee damage rolls. This bonus to damage is increased by half (+50%) if you are making an attack with a two-handed weapon, a one handed weapon using two hands, or a primary natural weapon that adds 1-1/2 times your Strength modif ier on damage rolls. This bonus to damage is halved (–50%) if you are making an attack with an off-hand weapon or secondary natural weapon. When your base attack bonus reaches +4, and every 4 points thereafter, the penalty increases by –1 and the bonus to damage increases by +2. You must choose to use this feat before making an attack roll, and its effects last until your next turn. The bonus damage does not apply to touch attacks or effects that do not deal hit point damage.

Sacred Touch: (Trait: Faith, 1st) As a standard action, you may automatically stabilize a dying creature merely by touching it.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency (Fighter 1st)

Bravery: (Fighter 2nd;Ex) A fighter gains a +1 bonus on Will saves against fear. This bonus increases by +1 for every four levels beyond 2nd, to a maximum of +5 at 18th level.

Armor Training: (Ex) Starting at 3rd level, a fighter gains added protection from the armor he is wearing. Whenever he is wearing armor, he gains an additional +1 armor bonus to his armor class, reduces the armor check penalty by 1 (to a minimum of 0), and increases the maximum DEX bonus allowed by his armor by 1. Every four levels thereafter (7th, 11th, & 15th), a fighter gains even more protection, increasing these bonuses by +1 each time, for a total of +4 to armor class at 15th level, with a –4 reduction to the armor check penalty and a +4 increase to the maximum DEX bonus allowed.
