Hello fellow gamers, i´m looking for some advice: are there any official rules for enviromental hazards of hydrostatic pressure.
I´m running an adventure in Skull&Shackles AP, and the PCs/Pirates are about to take a dive into the deep seas (600 to 3000ft., i.e. mesopelagic) and i got everything covered by magic: darkness<continual flame, coldness<endure elements, lack of breathable air< water breathing, communal...BUT how do i deal with high pressure. Is there a spell/magic item to prevent the heroes being crushed to pulp?
Group of four (Ranger, Witch, Bard/Cavalier, Wizard)Level 5th.
Any suggestions, advices, ideas?

i am looking for some advice regarding my new charakter in the Skulls&Shackles AP. I intend on playing a Vanara Ranger (possibly Trophy Hunter). The party is at level 3, i suppose. So any advice at feats, traits, equipment...? Anything will help. Or shall i take some levels in Rogue/Gunslinger respectively? So many questions/decisions...

Hi folk,
i have some questions regarding my Skulls and Shackles Campaign: Imagine a slaver´s ship from Cheliax commandeered by a group of devils and some ruthless Chelaxian mariners.
In fact it is a galley of some 200 miserable souls (Humans, Halflings)chained together. The most precious loot onboard are some (six to eight) Soul Stones which absorb/store the most basic emotions of the slave crew and thus keep them in line.
Thereby these stones get some spell-like abilities, charged by fear, wrath, sorrow/despair et.al.
So here are my questions: How many Soul Stone shall there be? Which spell-like abilities should these Stones have? Are the stones rechargeable and if so, how? Are they minor artifacts or wonderous items?
Suggestions/Advice/Opinions are very much appreciated. Thanx in advance...

here comes my question: what is the average speed (mph)of a carriage drawn by two horses under normal (road) conditions? According to page 174 Core Rulebook a cart or wagon goes for 2 mph. But no sign of the carriage. I am confused.

Hi folks, i´m looking for some alternate class abilities for the above-mentioned monk archetype. Something like Roll with the waves (Dodge) or Tsunami Fist (replacing Stunning fist). Of course there is no archetype by now. I just invented it by the fly and hope for some assistance.
Background Story: I envisioned a monastery on an isolated island atop a roaring cliff enshrouded by eternal winds and waves. By studying their environment the monks try to reach enlightenment and perfection of body and soul. So what would their combat style look like? I suppose something flowing and floating like Aikido, Judo or Tai Chi. Please send in your impressions, ideas, advices. Everything will help.

i have some questions regarding Legal Enforcement Powers of the Inquisitor: is s/he authorized to arrest suspected criminals, perform searches with an appropriate warrant, question/interrogate/torture suspects, judge and/or execute condemned criminals? If so, by whose authority? Church or State? Does s/he need a confession to judge the criminal or even a trial? Help me with this judicial nightmare.

i got a philosophical question here: is summoning devils/demons/evil outsiders an evil act by and of itself? The wizard in my group is inclined to summon evil creatures to do his bidding (mainly fighting other evil creatures).
He is of LN alignment and argues that these monsters are not actually existing (pure energy) and he has total control over them and they are fighting other monsters of the same kind.
I am interested in the Pros and Cons. Go, argue.

p.s. The player gets the impression, that evil outsiders are far more versatile and powerful and diverse than good outsiders (a ruther powergamerish opinion) and is oblivious to the paladin´s objections.

i have some questions about monk´s weapons and proficiencies. First, are there any stats for some ruther exotic weapons like the monk´s spade, the meteor hammer, flying claws, tetsubo (ironclad greatclub)? Second, is the monk proficient with these weapons?
