Sovereign Court

I am very sorry to hear this. Please take care of yourself and your loved ones. When you feel up to evaluating if you would like to return, I am sure we would be glad to hear from you but until then please know that your peace is more important than this game.

Sovereign Court

Svala keeps an eye out for any threats while working with the others to make camp for the night. She is unsure if this spot is the safest place as she constantly checks that her swords remain clear.

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

When Braggi roars with laughter she smiles slightly but shakes her head. "Well, if there are any dangers out there waiting for us they certainly know where to come find us."

Sorry for my absence. Long week and weekend.

Sovereign Court

Svala keeps pace with the horse of the second cart, listening to her companions talk casually amongst themselves. She smiles as she adjusts the swords at her hips and looks towards Braggi.

"Hey Braggi!" she shouts to get his attention, pointing at her own eye. "Keep Blue on alert. We can't trust Ol' Grey to really know what they actually see."

This job is a lot less exciting than she had hoped, but the sun was comfortable and the company good. Well, most of the company was good. I guess one good thing about Silas' sleeping is we can be sure we won't startle any wildlife in the area. Unless they are completely deaf.

Thanks. I'm looking forward to stepping back into Svala's shoes. See below for what I mean by that.

Svala is young for someone so focused on the warrior ways, but she carries a confidence in herself that is almost infectious at times. She tried not to be arrogant, but sometimes she comes off wrong. She tends to avoid too much conversation, but it is mostly since she knows she is still young and doesn't want to give others a chance to treat her like a child. Around those who make an effort to treat her as an fellow warrior though she is quick to speak her mind and laugh along with their good natured jabs.

During moments of tension, Svala sticks mostly with those she feels need the most protecting. She leaves scouting to others and stays close to the caravan as she feels she is their last defense if trouble should arrive. She is not a coward though, as she will face off against almost any foe. She has found a special bound with her fellow Ulfen Braggi, seeing an almost opposite fellow to herself. She sees herself following his lead into combat, bringing the enemy down from opposites sides, both figuratively with their styles and truly in a tactical flank position.

Inspiration:
Svala was originally a PFS character, designed around the image I linked in her profile. While building her it was seen as odd to select two non-light weapons but the image just felt wrong for someone using shortswords, so I stuck with it. She ended up being one of the most fun characters I played. It will be good to see how she does in this format.

What do you say, Svala? If I'm going to (potentially, if we're both picked) share adventures with another Ulfen, it would be nice to each have it's own peculiarities, or to be minimally coordinated, right?

Maybe we know each other?

Well, it seems that Braggi is more of a viking concept (sea raider and such) so it wouldn't be a stretch for them to know each other from her sailing south. Perhaps the ship she boards is the one you serve on?

As for the adventure trait, not many fit the concept I was going for, though I could likely switch it to the dragon hater one. Not a big stretch that an Ulfen born and raised in the Linnorm kingdoms would have an issue with dragons.

I have no issue with a bit of shared background.

Submitting Svala Two-Swords for the campaign.

Svala is an Ulfen fighter, preferring two longswords to most other weapons. The story involves her wanting to become an Ulfen Guard but there is no real intention of taking levels in the Prestige Class.

I went with the You're Seeking Your Fortune trait, though gold is more a means to the end of becoming a glorious hero.

"Gold never lasts but glory lasts forever. Of course, being Glorious requires gold, so I would be happy to serve as a guard for your cargo Master Gribb."
