SO...I have a long history playing D&D, starting with 3e and continuing on with each update until my group abandoned it after realizing we all hated 4e.

We converted to pathfinder which was great, but before the end of the campaign, I ran into some personal issues and had to bow out of the group.

Since my very first group, I have been GMing. I was not exclusively GMing, and I was not GMing in Pathfinder.

And now, I have a group eager to play - and my personal reasons have since evaporated. I will be GMing. I want to play Pathfinder, and I was wondering if there is any advice that anyone has, especially concerning the differences in DMing D&D vs GMing Pathfinder.

I will be tutoring at least one new player, but the other 3-4 will be experienced. I will be doing a homebrew campaign that leads into an old published thing that I am going to re-skin and update to Pathfinder rules.

SO...anything that I should be thinking about? Making sure I don't do that I otherwise would under D&D? Any success stories from someone getting back into GMing from more than a year and a half cold turkey? Good websites I should check out other than this one?

Also please let me know if I am in the wrong forum section.
