As for what I'm working on, it's a spell equation, one I've been working on since we started this trip.> I love how that turned out. I roll a Nat 20, you roll a Nat 1, quite hilarious. XD

While the group was hiking, Struug kept mentally mumbling. <Corrosive quotient squared minus the parabolic equalibrium, divided by the flow of energy equals increased output while decreasing distance of effectiveness.> Despite the apparent rambling, the Dunaux was extremely vigilant as to his surroundings.

I don't feel like waiting around to see if the scaly's come back.> He started heading east.

My people have a tendancy to not believe in deities, since we were created by an undead abomination known as The Nameless One.>

Jumping back, and raising his mace, the Dunauxian Magus readied himself for attack. Then she began to speak. <And just who in the infernal regions are you?> Struug added to Blink's questions.

It would make sense that he could talk to the Dunaux telepathically, given it was his master that made them. Still, this could get interesting. Btw, did you like the dream? Struug jumped to feet, weapon in hand, eyes darting around all over the place. <SHOW YOURSELF, MONSTER!!!!> he screamed telepathically for all to hear.

When he woke up Lorelei, he warned her, <Keep an extra eye out, there is something out there.> Struug then sat down with his gear and began to draw various arcane symbols in the dirt. He then erased, and re-drew them in a different order and repeated the process.

10/10 HP | AC: 13 | T: 11 | FF: 13 | F: +5 | R: +0 | W: +3 | Init: 0 | Per: +4 While in a deep sleep, Struug had restless dreams. For anyone interested: The village was burning. Everyone was dead or dying. Their screams of agony filled the air as much as the smoke did. Struug stood there, facing Nemesis, the minion of The Nameless One. In a rage, the Dunaux rushed the fiend, his mace swinging wildly. Nemesis easily turned the attack aside, grabbed Struug by the throat and lifted him off of the ground. The little Magus struggled with all of his might, but to no avail. Nemesis' eyes glowed a bright crimson as he smiled maliciously, then tossed Struug with extreme force through the wall of a crumbling building. It collapsed upon the helpless Dunaux. As he lay there, struggling to breath, he heard the sound of debris being moved aside. Then he awoke to Bjorn waking him for the third watch.

Being from a swampy region, he had become accustomed to the stale air. Ignoring the human pacing on deck, the Dunaux climbed some of the rigging to see over the rail. A volcano? Well if I burn up in the lava at least I won't have to deal with the nightmares. Looking at the Sylph, I wonder what it's like to have wind blowing through your hair? he thought. <Worried about a fiery death?> he asked telepathically. I decided to use the Animorphs style of typing telepathy. Always loved that style.
@GM: Ironically, they're from the same homebrew world, Auralis, I've been working on and off for the past few years. The Velmoru were just the first ones I used the Race Builder on. As far as looks go, they stand as tall as humans and weight as much as Half-Elves. The skin is slightly hardened, think similar to an exoskeleton but not nearly as rigid, and colored from red to yellow. They're eyes are also have no pupil and are various hues of green. Even though they live in the desert, their ears look like they belong on an aquatic creature. Think Lionfish fins, only with four ridges. |
