Hey guys,

i am pretty new to Pen&Paper and Pathfinder within it, too, but i'd like to make a little single player campaign for my girlfriend, who has shown interest in this. We dont live near each other, so there is no good chance to involve more poeple.

The question i have now is: Which campaign should i run? My DM already told me to better let her level 2 classes at the same time and make encounters like 3x 1/4 cr (for level 1 ofcourse). But he created his own world and plays within it with my group, so i have no idea of the set-up campaigns from paizo.

You have any advice for me, which one is maybe an easy one, without many "strange" things? I can weaken the encounters to fit, so they wont be the problem, but i already heard a lot of things i just thought wtf? how to get that? But nevermind.

Anyone can tell me which campaign is maybe an easy one?

Thank you for your help in advance :)

hey, i'd still like to join ya. I can come along with a human rogue, too. Under the premise you allow unchained. Story would be similar to the dhampir post.

Character Concept: :
A charismatic young rogue, good in diplomacy, bluff, etc. and sneaky ofcourse. Lived alone on the streets and while looking for work he got interested in Olaf's offer for a job or two

Background: :
Pratavh lost his parents early, because of a fire. First an older couple, Björn and Helene, raised him until he was 9, teaching him maths and writing. At the morning of his 9th birthday he wrote a letter:
Good morning Björn, Helene,
I appreciated your hospitality very much and you have been like parents for me. But i know you have not much for yourself, so its time for me to leave Stavie now. I talked to a fisherman yesterday to take me to Halfstead. So today i will set sail to live my own life, but i wish you both to live long and healthy.
Your Son Pratavh"
Arriving in Halfstead 3 days later the weather was rainy and it was cloudy, so as shy as Pratavh was, his first priority has been to get find anything with something having a top, and most important... he didnt want to be seen. He was afraid of this big city. Within the years he lost his shyness and became pretty good convincing people to give him some food or leftovers. But still he loves to be unseen and live his life on the street, because - as strange as it might sound - Pratavh feels more save hiding somewhere outside, instead of making people know where he is.
Today he is 17 and he knows: society wont accept his way of life, so he can either change it...and become...normal. Or he can use the skills he achieved and work in some different way. Haven't there been a rumor not long a time, that the former Jarl: Olaf Henrikson is looking for some People, who are skilled and got some courage?
Seems like a visit of Silvermeade Hall could pay off.

About me: :
I am pretty new to Pen&Paper in General and especially to this forum, so there are some terms i dont understand. If someone could write me a personal message what is meant by PbP and how the character creation in here works, i would be really happy. I mean, do you guys create a new account per character?

yup seems like i will change ma charakter then. thank you guys for answering :)

oh wow, so many things i dont understand ._." and which make me feel like an idiot in here. Maybe anyone here who would explain things to me?

with other words, the crossbowman is either a situational functioning reacting charakter, or half (feels like it) of his class feats are useless o.o

and the way i want to build him as ranged damage dealer doesnt work out.

I didnt know u can get DR-penetrating upgrades to ur weapon, thats a good info. Thank you.

Furthermore crossbowmen DO get dex to their dmg with greater deadshot.

I dont want to multiclass in general, because its my first run and i think mulitclassing should be thought over on lvl 1, because it needs much knowledge if i got it right.

is there an upgrade, or are there items which increase ur attack bonus too? I think deadly aim is great, because of the great dmg buff, especially on 3 or 4 - 6shots, but its attack malus is pretty strong, too. Which means i end up hitting only on 10+ with the second, and 15+ with 3rd shot, going on decreasing.

what do u want to tell me with "dot."?

I am new to Roleplaying and pathfinder, playing since Oktober last year 2times per week pathfinder. But i totally fell in love with this style of playing and its much fun, but ofcourse, i am not very deep in its stuff yet.

I've made an unchained rogue-dhampir(would that be ok?, if not i can change it to a normal rogue), his name is Pratavh and he got repudiated by his mother and lived in the streets of Halfstead since beeing a child. He hates his vampiric bloodline and searchs for a chance to find and kill his father. Pratavh learned fast to disguise himself as natural human to not catch attention. But still, his survivability on the street and his high skill to prevent any physical confrontation, he drew Olaf's Attention towards him, who decided to take care of him. Because Olaf's family didnt appreciate this decision Pratavh lived for about 3years in the barn near Olaf's mansion, but hey... he knew worse.
Within these years Pratavh insisted on train his skills and often asked Olaf, if he had nothing to do for him out of town...(he still hopes to get hints about the whereabouts of his father). And now Olaf finally accepts, that Pratavh wants to see more then the town.
But deep in Pratavh's heart, is something else. A litte piece of something, left by his bloodline, no matter how much he hates it. Will Pratavh really stay neutral? Or will he change...into something more...evil? We will never know...will we?

Well, that would be my charakter :)

Well, i am pretty new in the game, and didnt read through every class, archetype and so on. So i decided quickly on a crossbowman. The things i heard in my group about gunslinger was kobold gunslinger in 1st place who does much to much dmg on much to low attack rolls. So no i didnt consider anything from the gunslinger. but i didnt expect a class called gunslinger to work with a crossbow too :P

Hey guys and girls,
if i double this post i am sorry, i am not sure if my last try to submit it, succeeded or not, because i cant find it, so here once more:

I play a lvl 5 Crossbowman-Ifrit and the idea is to play with rapid shot, high bab, and crossbow mastery to get as many shots per round as possible (a simple bowman, but crossbows have more style then bows imo :D). The thing is i have a pretty good idea, which feats i wanna take, the problem is i have no idea which order would be the best.
The feats i have:

Point-Blank Shot // Rapid Reload(Heavy C.) // Rapid Shot //
Crossbow Mastery // Precise Shot // Deadly Aim

the feats i want to get (they would fill until lvl 17, and mounted archery i'd like to have, because we have a warpriest on a chariot, who would take me on a ride ... :D)

Weapon Focus 1+2 // Weapon Specialization 1+2 // Clustered Shots //
Penetrating Strike 1+2 // Improved Critical // Critical Focus //
Mounted Combat -> Mounted Archery // Impact Critical Shot

My thoughts included:
Lv. 6 Clustered Shots
Lv. 8 Improved Critical
Lv.12 Penetrating Strike
Lv.16 Greater Penetrating Strike

These feats are essential in my opinion and i should take them as early as possible.

About Critical Focus: I dont know if i should even take it because in my opinion it might be more useful to get Weapon Focus 1+2 first and on lvl 20 (i know its still a long way to go) i succeed in crit confirmation anyway.

Mounted Archery would just be a "nice to have" because battle would be a lot of fun with the war priest.

If u have any advice, tipps about other feats which should be mentioned i am happy to hear from u.
Thank you for any advice in advance :)
