Stanizlaus did not have it easy growing up. Born to a tribe of Elves living in a geological hotspot in the mountains surrounding Evereska, he was unfortunate to inherit a set of traits that gave him the appearance of a Drow. Though having no relation to the dark Elves, Stanizlaus was treated no less as such. Consistently he was sent out by his tribe since he was little to do the most dangerous daily tasks that needed to be done. This frequently took him into territories that were marked by sweltering heat from the geological activity, as well as equally dangerous inhabitants. But Stanizlaus was always fervently dedicated to his tasks that he though were essential to the continuation of the tribe, and quickly learned how to excel to the ire of the tribal leaders who simply preferred he succumb to the elements or some fell creature. Growing tired of his resilience after many years of sending him out day after day, only to see him return unscathed and having accomplished his task without fail they decided that he should be sent off to Evereska. It was not enough for him to simply be gone, they sent under orders to a tribe member in the city who would see it through for Stanizlaus to join the town guard. He did as was ordered as was in his nature, and as part of the training regimen, the new recruits were sent out essentially as live targets for the town guard to practice their ability to capture fleeing individuals. Partly to keep the town guard on their toes, and partly to rough up the newbies a little bit. Stanizlaus, having been no stranger to pursuit by those who would kill, rather than simply rough him a little, had no difficulty evading his pursuers. Even going as far as completing the fake mission they were assigned, which was stealing an item from a small monastery within the city. When he not only returned unharmed, but with the actual item, the ranking officer present immediately declared that Stanizlaus would train with the town special forces team. This role was absolutely ideal for someone of his talents, and he performed admirably within their ranks. For two decades he served the city, and when his service to the city was nearly at an end. He decided that he would continue his training with a group of scholars who showed an equal amount of dedication to their tasks as he did to his own.
