Schedule released and frankly I'm a bit overwhelmed considering choices, both lottery and non-lottery. My thinking as of now is to prioritize the saturday and sunday Lottery choices so I can begin a PFS character friday early for the Grand Convocation friday evening.

Will be my first PFS character so while not a pathfinder noob I am a PFS noob.

Looks like some fun seminar action throughout, but I'm gonna try to concentrate on developing a PFS character early.

Any advice before thursday's registration would be greatly appreciated.

Well Timitius you're gonna love hearing that this Paizocon will be my first convention as well then. Thanks for the 411, I'm really looking forward to it. I've played no PFS to date but I did design my own island continent (specifically for Pathfinder, set in Golarian) which I'm running friends through now and I'm hoping to get a better feel for Pathfinder and borrowing some great ideas for running my Pathfinder game.

As I will be a Paizocon noob this year I'm not sure what the Grand Convocation is exactly. Would you recommend I experience it first as an NPC or otherwise. I think I'd make a good NPC but if participating in another way would give me a better experience, I'd like to know beforehand.

This will be my first foray into PFS and Paizocon as well, glad to hear I'll be able to jump right in. I'll stalk these boards more as well as we lead up to the con.
