Narrator

the elemental peers over luca's shoulder, watching Luca cook, something completely Ailen to them.

Narrator

rivit- the spell is remarkably complicated. It doesn't seem like you can quite ascess how dangerous this failing might be.

Narrator

the circle shmmers and distorts.

Narrator

The elemental pokes Luca.

roulette:
what's the problem here? Could you give me a quick translation?

Midioto seems a bit out of it as he continues to stare at his now empty hand.

ya.... ya we probably should...

Then with a vilount shake of his head, and a POP! sideways a few feet he seems to shake himself out of it.
Right! Ok. Lets get out of here and head back to camp! ELEMENTAL! Do you want to come with us?
Oops. Wrong tongue.

Exasperated, he turns to Luca
SIGH.... Luca, you ask him!

Edit: Is my skin still crawling?

yes. Less noticeably, but yes. Spesifically, on your left arm.

the elemental looks baffled, but is already sorta following along with the group.

gin, you harvested two doses of poison and a fang.

Narrator

the cave seems empty, not even so much as a sound in the rest of the cave.
In the webbing down the passageway, there are bound a couple sheets of paper, oddly untouched and undegraded. Almost certianly magical.

Narrator

the elemental is shaking a bit, trying to hide it's fear of the spider. Badly.

elemental:
y-y-y-yeah, I'm fine.

both gin and midioto. This creature is some grotesque fusion of spiders and bats. It likely had poison sacks that can be cut out if you're careful.

Narrator

the elemental pauses, and shifts side to side.

elemental:
I suppose I do owe you. Alright, I'll tag along.

Narrator

the elemental glances from midioto to Luca, wordlessly, before he says, plainly-

elemental roulette:
... "What in the hells is this man saying? It's like he speaks half the tounge."

I don't think it's capable of any meaningful magic.

Narrator

the elemental quietly stands, awaiting more questions he can understand.

Narrator

the elemental relaxes a lot, visible largely in his constant elemental shifting slowing down into slow ripples crossing his flesh.

elemental languages:

Far better. What did you want in return?

Narrator

everyone is rather well off, except for midioto.

Narrator

the creature cracks as it's struck. It rears back to strike again, before it shatters after electricity runs through it, leaving nothing but a pile of black shards.

Narrator

the huge raptor wheels around at the appearance of midioto, sinking it's claws and teeth into him as his spell fails. Blood drips from it's maw as it slams down a claw next to midioto, just missing, while the other seems to freeze the blood that ended up on it solid. The creature is struck by rivit's beam, and it flinches, but lawazi's arrow bounces off of it's rock hard flesh.

claw: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
claw: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Bite: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

claw: 2d6 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (3, 3) + 6 + (5) = 17 five of this damage is cold damage
bite: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

something else: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Ward hex on Luca. +2 deflection AC, +2 resistance bonus on all saves until he gets hit or fails a saving throw

That reminds me that I forgot to add the extra +1 resistance bonus from that to my save. So, no shaken for Luca. Am I to assume the wall is all the way around our camp? If not, how far does it go?

i hate to say it but, I don't know, and have just kinda been rolling with it right now. I might see if I can come up with some exact demintions after this. for now, though, the wall blocking the raptor is likely about five feet high- just tall enough it can't just jump or step over it.

Narrator

reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

the creature is hit by midioto's spell and doesn't much seem to care, charging forward towards the wall. Even with the spell in play, it doesn't stop it from reaching the wall. It's talons tear into the wall, making it crack and crumble. Thorak's spell fails to phase the raptor, it's rage and fury far too much to be interrupted by such a thing.

to hit: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
damage: 2d6 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (2, 1) + 6 + (6) = 15
something else: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Narrator

about 50 feet a away from the wall of camp, and about 70 feet from the middle. And ah, yes, you're right, Luca.

Narrator

rather suddenly, there's a shrill cry as one of the flans suddenly gets tackled by a small blur. The blur, that is now obviously the small, raptor-like creature from earlier, gorges itself on the fawn that got knocked over, tearing into it's neck and scattering blood everywhere. As it consumes, it seems to grow at a remarkable rate, soon standing as tall as a human, and the corpse entierly consumed in a manner of seconds. The raptor takes on a dark, skinny color, and freezes, looking to have turned to obsidian. The male deer has wheeled around to stare at the now petrified predator. A moment passes. Then another. Then the predator shakes itself, fully capable of motion again. The buck lets out a huge bellow at the predator, and the raptor lets out a huge shriek, the noise filling the area, as the creatures square off, and the doe and fawn back up a bit.

everyone who can near the bellow (I.e. Everyone) DC 18 will shave VS shaken.

Narrator

as the group tries to rest, a buck, a doe, and two fawns with a white stripe running down thier back walk around near camp. The buck's antlers are huge, jet black, and crystalline, they doesn't seem to have noticed 1d3 ⇒ 1 rivit yet, as it wanders and eats grass.

Narrator

the way to the woods is... Suprizingly peaceful, at the moment. Every step in the grass barely makes a sound. It's odd, the woods seem much father then they looked. Yet they steadily get closer, like they should. There's a quiet wind, but not much more.

preception checks, please.

Narrator

the island sprawls out before the party as mot of them fall on top of each other, one after another, and then Berith careens out of the portal and lands a good ten feet away. The visible area is a huge, flat plains. Looking to the north and west, there's the twisting mealstrom, and to the east and south, a hazy mist, and a swirling snowstorm to the southeast. There's a large forest to the east, and scattered small forests everywhere else, with a stony mountain right on the edge of the mealstrom.
