There seems to be a general issue with the formatting of spell descriptions in the Occult Adventures and Ultimate Combat sections. Spells are written with the statblock and then a description. In the Core Rulebook and most other sections, the spell description is written with a plain paragraph html tag (<p>). However, the spell descriptions in the Occult adventures and Ultimate Combat sections seems to use the same html class as the statblock, making it look slightly weird and ugly. As an example, just look at Absorb Toxicity from Ultimate Combat. Its description font is all messed up and weirdly indented. I don't know how many spells are affected, but it seems like almost every single one. To fix it, make the spell descriptions be a simple paragraph html tag with no class.
About spaceships: Will I be able to pick and choose my own spaceship systems to have exactly the ship I want? (e.g. I choose to have a pretty weak shield system but I have a very powerful engine or whatever)
About spaceship combat: Will damage be modular, as in, can certain systems be damaged to disable them? Say I'm the gunner and I fire on their engines so they can't make evasive maneuvers or something. I'm asking this because I've played the indie game FTL and I really liked the modular way the spaceship worked and how you could strategize about what enemy systems to shoot.
So in the bestiary there are many monsters which are variable according to various factors. Particularly, I'm talking about dragons which have so many different statblocks for all their different ages and colours and so on. Now, I understand that the statblocks for all the dragon sizes and ages and colours are not in the bestiary book, as it would fill quite a bit of pages. There is not really a space issue in the reference document though so why not fill in the stats for all the ages of dragons there (Wyrmling, Very Young, Young, Juvenile, Young Adult, Adult, Mature Adult, Old, Very Old, Ancient, Wyrm and Great Wyrm)? It would be a lot less work for a lot of GMs to implement dragons (and other monsters that varies in similar ways) if these stats were precalculated and didn't have to be calculated manually by following the rules of dragon age progression. |
