I note on your website that you had compilation CDs for sale at Origins, though I didn't see them directly linked there.

I'm old fashioned enough that I like to cue things up on my CD player instead. Are there any plans for any of these to be released on compilation CDs rather than just as direct downloads?

Hi Kevin,

We have one compilation CD available right now, "Cities Towns and Villages". We hope to do more of them in the future, but probably not any time soon. "Cities Towns and Villages" will be available on our website soon - we're just having some technical difficulties that are preventing us from selling "hard copy" products on the website, but we hope to get those ironed out very soon. Keep checking the website, or sign up for our mailing list and I'll let you know when it's available. Or if you don't want to wait, email me at soundmaster@sonic-legends.com and I'll send you information about the CD including instructions on how to purchase one. :)

Who did the artwork there? It looks very similar in style to Stephen Gammell (who did the art in 'Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark' which likely damaged my brain as a child).

That's a watercolor by artist Ashley McCarthy (http://ashleymccarthy.daportfolio.com/). I found her work on Deviant Art and thought it would be a perfect illustration for "Haunted House". I just love her style! She was very gracious when I asked for permission to use it - a real class act, and talented to boot! :)

So very confused why I haven't heard of these before now. I've been spending hours going through soundtracks to make a shoddy version when compared to these. Now, my needs are easily met on the cheap IMO.

Hi there! So glad you're enjoying Sonic Legends soundscapes! We're a fairly new company (it's our one-year anniversary this month), which may be why you haven't heard of us till now. We have an extensive catalog that includes many different tracks in different styles and genres, and we add new stuff every month. Check out our website sometime at www.sonic-legends.com for more information about us! And if there are any soundscapes you think you'd want that we don't offer, let us know! We always love hearing from gamers about what they'd like to hear. :)

I hope they do well enough for them to release more, because there are so many situations in which one could use loopable, subtle, mood music.

Thank you for your words of encouragement! Glad to hear you like our products!

We release more soundscapes every month. :) In fact, we have five more scheduled for release next week. If you'd like to be kept informed when new soundscapes are released, feel free to sign up with our mailing list (we send out one monthly newsletter only, so as not to bombard our customers with unwanted mail).

Seem to be good stuff to mix through my current RPG playlists, especially the weird SciFi themed ones. However, they could do with a Call of Cthulhu/Pulp downtime piece.

We actually have some Mythos soundscapes in the pipeline over the next few months. And "Degenerate Seaside Town" by Matt Steckler was inspired by Innsmouth. :)

We also always take suggestions. If you want it, chances are someone else will too!
