The Exchange

My question is if you use the swords crit range with this? It does not seem to have the wording that a magus has(spellstrike). At level 8 when you hit with your sword you automatically hit with the spell meaning that maybe you cannot crit with the spell at all when hitting with the sword as well. It makes sense if you just deliver the spell with the sword you crit on a 20 like a normal spell but when hitting automatically with the sword contact im not sure the language allows for a crit with the spell.

The Exchange

Can't do urban that requires a bloodline. The power attack would only be while raging same with finesse, as a pre req I would imagine you would loose it when you stop raging as well.

The Exchange 2/5

Simple question how do the players return without the dragon casting water breathing? They are after all 3 weeks out.

The Exchange

I would do sanctified slayer with feather domain if possible. I would also offset the bab with a full bab class in one of them so you get full bab progression on the 3/4 bab classes.

The Exchange

technically this damage comes from enervation which is a negative energy necrotic non evil spell. I assume that it counts as non typed since it doesn't say anything about negative energy in the text. Also a paladin should be ok using it.

The Exchange 2/5

In the rare instance of a wizard charging a fee for the privilege of copying spells from their spellbooks, this fee is equal to half the cost to write the spell into a spellbook (see Writing a New Spell into a Spellbook). Rare and unique spells do not change the fee in PFS

Maybe this has been covered but has it been cleared up that a rare instance is just go to the library to copy the spells out in PFS, to me library doesn't sound rare at all and I am just wondering if this is guess work or somebody has made an official post on the subject.

The Exchange

of course I meant team mate knocking you out, its so op!;)

The Exchange

Oh good catch the main use of that was to avoid the movement penalty of swarm suits

The Exchange

Oh and for squishies an Earth elemental belt so u cannot be moved turn into an elemental and gain +4 con this thing I amazing
Dazing rod lesser + Heightened to level 3 Magic Missle
Both expensive but for what you get cheap

The Exchange

As said above Sleeve of Many Garments but with the idea that swarm suits are considered clothes in their wording as well.
Wands + UMD
Decoy Ring not cheap but a way to get sneak for rogues and out of harms way for many others as you don't appear after the withdraw, and if you go down your allies can target you.
Any flying or levitation or climbing movement usually helps but at low level a knotted silk rope of 100ft or so and a grappling arrow has helped parties many many times with a 20 climb check becoming 5.
hmm also a spiked gauntlet on all non armed people is a super cheap investment to get flanking and help the party out not that your wizard really wants to be in combat but if you happen to be stuck there why not give a +2 to hit and maybe then withdraw with your decoy ring.
Mithral buckler
At low level a heavy warhorse is a beast of slaughter with 3 attacks it may be hard to get to places but if you can they can do fair damage for 300gp (plus riding gear if you ride it)
Circlet of Persuasion in general with the Noble Scion feat
if in PFS and your not in the main line parade armor bought at level 1 for where you are going is good as you can change it out the next adventure till you hit level 2.
often wondered if Mount Wand + Wartrained Mount wand would b worth it if u could umd it.
Theres more but that's what I could think of off hand

The Exchange

Actually: Unless the descriptive text for the spell specifies otherwise part of acid fog would negate the natural 1 rule and seems to damage all items (poor spellbooks!)

The Exchange

Banshee, geez

The Exchange

Also you can interpret as learn the spell as you learn it so if its on your list you cast it still at the level you have learned it, example: The Summoners Haste spell is level 2, learned as a wizard would be still level 3 but a free spell. Its one way to interpret it not sure, I know its tempting to add a level 9 spell to a level 6 slot but I don't interpret it that way myself. Hmm I wonder what the odds of this race becoming pfs legal are? :P

x4 crit multiplier when gm is rolling to confirm at level 1

The Exchange

yah ill admit for the price the ring is a great option, as I stated maybe someone at paizo has a rogue that they wanted to actually help the party with damage. (lol please dont spam me) As for price a level 5 spell (repeatedly) for 12k does seem underpriced but maybe the cost lessening is in the activation as previously stated and the fact u cannot do it out of combat. On a rules lawyer note, what do you guys think about sparring with a buddy to activate it heh.

1. Read what its based on people the ring created uses mislead and mislead provides greater invisibility, I know its powerful but that is a 5/6 level spell on it. So attacking would be allowed (perhaps to help out the rogues that are outshined if the party doesn't help out). Either way it is not the spell invisibility it is a condition, and the spell it is based on is what you have to use not the I dont like it so it doesnt exist mentallity.
2. No you cannot use it outside of combat as per WITHDRAW is a combat action that is discribed as actions in combat therefore not a viable non combat action.

The Exchange

So is the damage multiplied on a crit?

Question: From the rules under Grenadier, it says you can infuse a weapon or ammunition with a single harmful liquid or powder. my interpretation is that you could not infuse a liquid catalyst with it ahead of time since it is not a weapon or ammunition until it becomes a bomb, and its a standard to make and throw or a full round (with fast bomb) which means there would not be time to use the move action required. Is there a way to infuse a bomb with an acid flask for example. Also it appears that the item infusing is no longer able to splash meaning that I assume no adding Int a second time.

The Exchange

So with the Noble Scion (War) making an Initiative (Dex) check a (Charisma ) check you could get +3 to Initiative cha based skills and concentration checks if you are a cha caster.

The Exchange

If the DM doesn't allow making your own you could use the inquisitor's monocle.

The Exchange

I play a Dwarf zen archer and I see him as Gimli and Legolas combined, so even if he takes down a big prey he tells himself "it still only counts as one."

The Exchange

Im playing with the 2 pally 2 sorc 1 oracle using char for ac refx2 will and fort x1 ini x1 (feat) then going dragon disciple, thoughts?

The Exchange 2/5

Wouldn't you be able to lose your bonded item and then pay the 200 gp to get a new one? Thus allowing upgrades later on or changing out the item?
