“Slam” Duncan is an oread from the coastal highlands of the Successor State of Quain in Tian Xia. He trained in the martial arts at the renowned Dragon Temple, dedicating himself also to the study of history and religion and service to Irori, god of enlightenment, self-perfection, knowledge, healing, and inner strength.

Duncan has embarked upon a heroic quest to ennoble humanity, inspired by his faith—and encouraged within the Pathfinder Society by his patron, Lady Gloriana Morilla.

Duncan was knighted by Princess Eutropia in recognition for his services to Taldor, after successfully supporting Ramaio Alcasti’s efforts to redeem his family name and restore his status in Taldan society.
