I vote straight towards room #28. S'koth is happy to lead or follow 2nd behind a scouter. Meepo doesn't seem to know this area I'm assuming?

S'koth peers at the door, wondering aloud if the embedded wood chunks might be missile ammunition of some sort. He later kneels down and gingerly examines the Dire Rats, prodding them with the blade of his longspear, making certain to keep them away from his nose or mouth.

"Sschknorfle!!! Gaaaah. What? Whaaa?... Ah. Yesss, hmmmm." S'koth passes his scaly hand over his face, clearing bleary sleep from his reptilian eyes. He lurches up, tail assisting his rise before taking stock of the room and personnel. Following that he adjusts his armor straps, sheathes his falchion and sighs heavily.

"Okay! Let'ss carry on!"

He kneels down by the sleeping kobold and gently rocks him.

"Meepo! Kashvakhar hesskor sskrakau kravatchi!"

Draconic:
"Meepo! Great deeds await brave kobold!"

"Here Hedrroth, I think this is this place, but it looks like the key is in Goblin."

He breathes heavily for a moment.

"Let'ss hole up for the night, either in the ssarcophaguss room or where the ratss attacked Meepo. We can decide where/which way to go in the morning."

To Meepo:

"Sphak getto, kravatchi - ek nassto elbek, prahto ssi."

Draconic:
We'll halt for the night kobold - then work out a new plan on the morrow"

So we should level up now gang?

S'koth makes sure to gather up the remaining jewelled eyes from the skeleton's (if Hedroth hasn't already) worthless or not. He offers one to each member of the party (including himself and Meepo) as a keepsake and gives the remaining to Rifiki for "safekeeping" unless anybody particularly wants more.(If Hedroth already took them he asks for one as a keepsake.)

"Svarkh hess, kravatchi - vu qandrah!"* enthuses S'koth, helping Rifiki with Meepo and dusting the little kobold off.

Did the skeletons have any armor or weapons? Anything else useful in the sarcophagus room or room Meepo in?

Yep! Glad to hear everything's ok! My boy is two and a half now, but he was back in hospital less than eight hours after we left when he was born... I know what child-emergencies can be like!!!

S'koth fixes the elf with a steely stare. He makes a great show of dusting himself off, then bends down to pick up a faded jewelled eye from one of the skeleton's skulls. He holds it up to his own eye and appears to look through it.

"I'm not ssure we will ssee eye to eye on nobility Melissaria. I had no inkling the kravatchi wassn't in the room. I'm not ssure if you noticed either while your heart'ss blood was sstaining the ground, nor while we battled these horrors from beyond the grave. Your people's bones, might I add, perhaps ignobly. Careful who you sscold, we may be beassts and animalss to you, but we've kept you alive while you sstare down your nose at uss."

S'koth casually tosses the jewel to Rifiki. He places his falchion back in it's scabbard, flexes his claws and licks his teeth.

"When you are all done, I'm ready. Perssonally I don't care to ssacrifice oursselves for the kravatchi. Our tassk is locating the townsfolk. Gaining the dragon is ssecondary, and thuss, to me, is Meepo. Sstill, I'm ssure IF we resscue him, he might just wet himself.... S'koth pauses momentarily.
"As for tacticss, let the vermin come to uss. They aren't the brightesst."

I'm fairly confident S'koth just wiped 3 and 4 (forgot to add Melisaria's bonus or to roll crit against no. 4!), Zar may just have wiped number 2 and 1 is heavily wounded...So retreat may be unnecessary... ;)

S'koth looks around, taking in the grandeur of the carvings, the fountain - sniffing the air as if that alone would bring him closer to his Draconic heritage.

His reptilian eyes finally fix on the carved door on the western wall. He stands in front of it, shivering in the unearthly chill. He hunches his shoulders, grips his falchion tight and utters one dread word:

"Ashardalon!"

Worth a shot, right? :)

GM - Umm, read my other post again - I spoke to Meepo in Draconic. Written in Draconic AND Spoilered Draconic translation. I asked him a couple of questions too. Remember also Yenli also speaks Draconic - I assumed she just didn't spoiler it.

S'koth turns to the rest of the party with a pained expression on his reptilian face. "Hrrmm. Ssorry about thiss. Rifiki? Care to tesst the door? Zar you watch Rifiki, Melissaria and Yenli sstay alert. I'll take Meepo to the rear for now. We only have him to lead the way until we decide we're better off on our own - we might not need him right now as he hasn't been thiss way and doesn't know what lies beyond thiss area, but Calcryx will need to recognise him, (thinks for a moment) or tell uss a messsage we can give the dragon. I fear Meepo will get uss into trouble..."

He turns on the kobold and gabbles in Draconic quickly:

"Vatchkass Meepo! Vissho kerpa tulsi Drakos ffar! Kinkiss magi? Kinkiss grachsö?"

Draconic:
"Meepo be careful! You need to be wise like Dragon! You know magic spells? Can you fight?"
