About Sioron
Backstory: Sioron was born into one of the most powerful noble houses in the land. He grew up amidst the game of power and betrayal that is politics, but he became sick of the cloaks and daggers, and so left his home and joined the most prestigious College of the Arcane he could find. Here he was a star pupil, excelling at his work with a passion rarely found, but his education was cut short when he was expelled from the college due to a coup attempt by his family. Angered by this punishment for a crime he did not commit, Sioron decided that he needed to gain power another way.
He sought long and hard for other ways to attain the magical power he saught, but in the end it found him. One Morning when Siorin awoke he found a bat hanging from the ceiling of the room he had rented. To his surprise the bat spoke to him, for it was not a bat, but Akhtur, an ambassador for a power that hides in the shadows, a power that could grant Siorin that which he wanted, for a price. Sioron made the deal, he, like Akhtur, knew he had no choice, he would only get this chance once.
The power did not change him physically, but it did mentally. He was now something more than the sheep that call themselves humans, he was a hound, with the power to kill, and the power to protect. The world was his canvas, and he was free to paint what he wanted.
Personality: If Sioron is nothing else he is ambitious, and selfish. Sioron does not care at all for strangers, and it is very hard to become one he considers a "friend", but once you have earned his trust he will go to any end to keep yours, for he knows that he cannot achieve his goals without allies. Sioron is happy to go out of his way to help friends achieve their goals, if he trusts that they will repay him in kind. At the same time Sioron sees those who betray the trust of there friends as a plague to rid the world of, and he has a habit of getting his revenge on those who double-cross him.
Akhtur: Every since Sioron became a Witch Akhtur has been Siorons only real friend. While their relationship started out as business it slowly became much more personal, and the two work together seamlessly, with Akhtur acting as a voice of reason for naive Sioron.
Low Goals: Outdo the Wizards who denied him power, Understand more about the forces he owes his power to, Become a spell caster of note.
Med Goals: Gain renown as a powerful spell caster, pay back his debts or otherwise end the mysterious forces power over him, gain the ability to control politics from the shadows ("advise" a ruler, blackmail people, etc.)
High Goals: Achieve Immortality, create and lead a group of powerful people to keep the world just the way he likes it, Become the single most powerful spell caster alive (or un-alive if immortality requires undeath)
