Female Half elf Witch 1
Morning Rolls Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Sioned works the cold out and takes care of Rusty in the morning...eying him as for a moment he looks like some sort of other animal. "I'm ready to go when you all are." {ooc}There is no pig anymore for a witches familiar, I'll keep Rusty the way he was though if that is ok with everyone else. No real statistical bonus either way. Also, my internet has been blocked at work so I am going to have a tougher time posting. Sorry if there is some delay in my replies.

Sioned blinks as the bolt of experience lightning ricochets off of her head. "Suddenly, I think waiting and resting for oh...eight hours...might be beneficial" {ooc}Also gives everyone a chance to peek at the Advanced Player's Guide and see if their Characters are going to shimmer and shift a little with all the changes.
Female Half elf Witch 1
Grimaces at the pathway "Am I the only one who has a bad feeling about this? Long, treacherous, icy pathway with no railings and a steep drop into deathly cold water. Add to that no cover, no way to hide our approach from any sentries who would be watching and no room to maneuver when we get attacked," ticking the points off on her fingers. She looks around at the others with a wry grin "We could just tell everyone back home that we lost them in a storm...or better yet, head back down river until we find a tropical beach someplace...preferably one with a ready supply of fruity drinks!"
Female Half elf Witch 1
"You're also recovering from having your brains bounced around the inside of your head. Looking at it in the light of day, I think the risk of being seen is less than the chance we would be taking climbing that ice in the dark. We should head off as quickly as we can." Sioned hitches up her pack, tucks Rusty in, and prepares to soldier on. "If we approach with the sun at our backs, maybe we'll be lost in the glare off the snow.'
Female Half elf Witch 1
{ooc} I'm ok with that. To keep things moving, you can NPC me any time I don't respond within a day. I am assuming that majority rules will work fine for determining the party actions. No need to wait for someone to say "yup, I follow the party to the East." Just in advance, on Sioned's turn she will try and Hex one of the critters into a slumber. I'm sort of a one trick pony at the moment :)
Female Half elf Witch 1
Continues to follow in the middle of the pack, quietly talking to herself...or Rusty...or the snow. For the start of the day:
For mid-day:
For evening:
Female Half elf Witch 1
Sioned is crouched in the snow, shading her eyes from the glaring sun. She begins to mutter to herself...thinking outloud. "The rest of the Rector's group never made it back to Camlin and they were bringing the largest piece of Corvaut's metal man. What the fat man had with him...and what the Tengu stole...are simply the smaller parts he could quickly carry along. Now those Tengu" nodding down towards the larger group, "are carrying something larger and trying to make good time to the same place as those we are tracking." "If I had to guess, I think the remainder of Covaut's crew were relieved of their items as well and the Tengu are all running to bring the pieces together." "Regardless, we know where our quarry is heading and it will be easier to track the large group. We should be able to make better time without having to constantly pause and re-establish the trail." She looks around at the others to see if they agree with her thinking.

After glaring at Andreas' mention of even colder weather, Sioned whistles quietly at the group of Tengu wishing she had looked around more during the last few days of hiking. "Can we make a guess whether they're going the same direction as the ones we are tracking?" {ooc}One sentence...how about "despite the cold, Sioned is finding comfort in travelling and bonding with a group of companions."
Female Half elf Witch 1
Perception Rolls:
Sioned came to Camlin to hide and to isolate herself. She is surprised to find that she can rely on what are basically strangers to keep her safe and is discovering that she missed this sort of companionship and camaraderie. She is also learning that she is effectively snow-blind and might as well read a book while walking in line with the party or standing watch.
Female Half elf Witch 1
Sioned buries deep in her cloak and slogs on, muttering to herself about the questionable intelligence of those who choose to live in a land of ice and snow. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Somehow her grousing about the snow sharpens her ability to see through it...
Female Half elf Witch 1
"If we want to get in contact with the Tengu, maybe we should put up some fireworks or something and get their attention. Make it obvious that we are coming and draw them out of the woodwork. Then again...that might just give them license to set up a nasty ambush." She shrugs and hums to herself while trudging on. She also glances at Fubar to check if he is wearing an eyepatch over his right eye.
Female Half elf Witch 1
Sioned scoops up Rusty and nestles him in her cloak. "That'll keep you out from under orcish foot." She follows along in the center of the group, grateful that she doesn't have to trail-break through the deepening snow. She will cast light as needed unless the party wants to remain inconspicuous in the darkness.
Female Half elf Witch 1
Sioned bundles herself up and reclines with her back against a wall. Rusty nests in the sleeping roll with her. She looks a bit uncomfortable with the idea of resting while others keep watch. "I need some rest, but not so desperately that I can't take a shift if you need me to." Despite her words, Sioned will quickly nod off.
Female Half elf Witch 1
"So remind me...what is the plan when we catch up to the Tengu? They were recovering a religious artifact, and they committed crimes when doing so. Is our goal to recover the item...or arrest the Tengu...or wipe them out as a threat...or try and parlay some sort of agreement between them and Camlin...or wait and see?" Sioned keeps her head down as she follows the leaders towards their night's shelter. "I mean, they're certainly treating us as hostile invaders or something. Since we aren't taking the hint that we aren't welcome, I think we need to establish what we plan on doing by pressing on." {ooc}I'll step up after Fubar is done in a month. I wanted to get a feel for how PbP works before I tried my hand at GMing
Female Half elf Witch 1
Getting a bit bleary after the long day with no sleep, Sioned casts light as needed then glances around at the lengthening shadows, eyes lingering on the cooling bodies. "At least we know we're on the proper trail. Gnosh is right, I feel pretty exposed here...they know where we are and there isn't much for cover."
Female Half elf Witch 1
Sioned mutters some arcane words as she walks towards Caydee and the Tengu assaulting her "Approach me now..." 5 foot step to get within 25' and then Command "Approach", DC 16 will save to resist. Plan is for the Tengu to move towards me and invoke attacks of opportunity from Caydee and Ahz and maybe Andreas. {ooc} btw, I am fairly novice with playing spell casters, so if I do something grossly incorrect, please let me know.
Female Half elf Witch 1
Sioned grins up at Fubar, "I like any plan that places a steel weilding half-orc between me and stuff with sharp teeth. Glad to be of service! Just don't ask me to spot any charging wolves for you..." Looks over to where Caydee is dragging the corpse and the barely visible crevasse, a good place to stash bodies we don't want left in the open. "Don't go falling in...I don't want to be the only one around who needs to squat to pee!" She has never been particularly lady-like.
Female Half elf Witch 1
Sioned trudges over, glancing around but not seeing anything...contemplating why she didn't decide to take up the career of blind oracle... "I can at least help you with your bedroll and blanket..." She is at a medium load after a hearty meal, so I might as well take the extra 10 lbs until I hit heavy. I don't need to run much during a fight anyways.
Female Half elf Witch 1
Fairly certain that she would be more in the way than anything in a melee, and also confident that the boys have the wolf in hand, Sioned holds her action and scans the snow on all sides, not ready to be caught unaware a second time. Perception if needed: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 of course, her head is so deeply buried in her hood, she can't spot anything at all.
Female Half elf Witch 1
She bundles herself into an additional cloak and puts Rusty down to walk as she shoulders her bedroll and share of the supplies. Rusty is dressed in a matching home-made sweater and hat all knit out of multi-colored wool. He manages to look pathetic, embarrassed and a little put out all at the same time. "I'm as ready as I ever will be. Just tell me where to go." Sioned is a stick and likely not of much use in the carrying of tents and such.
Female Half elf Witch 1
Sioned regards the Rector with a cold eye for a few moments and then turns, walking off towards his house to deal with Thomas the servant. Over her shoulder "We'll settle this mess and if we find trinkets while doing so, you can decide what they are worth to you when we return." Pulling herself and Rusty back into her cloak, Sioned finds herself at the Rector's door and kicks it with her foot. "I've been sent by Covaut for supplies...Armstrong 6." She calls to the closed door.
Female Half elf Witch 1
As she approaches the burnt out guardhouse, Sioned ignites an arcane light in her hand and ensures that her cloak is open, displaying her collection of eldritch talismans and other 'witchy' accoutrements. They are shallow tricks, but she wants to present a convincing display of authority to avoid dealing with the Scions. Disregarding the Scions, she walks up to Corvaut. "Rector, I think you need to tell me a story about what bauble you collected from the Icewall that brought those Vultures into town. It must have been something valuable for them to have killed over it and risked the inevitable retaliation." She raises an eyebrow and regards him for a moment. "I also think it would be a prudent display of good will if you funded the endeavour to bring these creatures to justice. You could be in need of all the good will you can gather once people start to question what led the Tengu to Camlin in the first place..." Diplomacy/Intimidation1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Female Half elf Witch 1
"I'll put the gears to the Scions and Covaut. I can either meet up with the rest of you before you head to the pass, or else I'll catch up. Don't wait on me. I'll grab your things and some supplies before following you." narrowing her eyes "I think the Rector can spare some coin to fund this little adventure." Tucks Rusty in and pulls the cloak around herself before making her way quickly back towards the Guardhouse. "...extended holiday...?"
Female Half elf Witch 1
Sioned shrugs with a half-cocked grin at Caydee's question. "If you can smell them...then get...to it..."Sioned gasps, out of breath from running."And what happens...if they hopped the wall...or went to ground in town...or didn't come out this gate?" She takes a deep breath then soldiers on "Too much time inside avoiding the cold...I'm glad my Ma can't see me..."
Female Half elf Witch 1
Beginning to feel surrounded by half-orcs, She comes to a halt outside the Scion's guard house, Gnosh and the bound Tengu in tow. "I'm Sioned...Oz? Ahz! I gotcha...uhm..." She chews on her lip, torn between checking with the Rector and lending support to cutting off the Tengu. "Dammit! Give him to the Scions," Motioning to Gnosh "then you two come with me. Who knows how many more Tengu are waiting outside to support these ones..." Sioned then dashes off to towards the north gate, flanked by some 500lbs of receding forehead and jutting brow ridge. Rusty voices his displeasure at being jostled. Muttering "If you don't like it then walk...
