Appearance
Simon is an average sized young man with light, wavy hair and bright green eyes. He's very quiet, but with a look in his eyes that says that he doesn't miss much. He tends to dress in dull grays... the clothing is typically of decent quality, but plain and muted. He isn't exactly jumpy - but he's close.
Background
Simon was raised in an orphanage owned by the Delacroix family. He has no memory of his birth family, and during the years he lived at the orphanage, he never received any visitors - or even news - about any extended family. As a result, if he feels any sense of familial loyalty, it is reserved for the orphans he grew up with - and of course, with Nanette Delacroix. Simon and Nanette have been inseparable since early childhood, and as they've begun to approach adulthood, their relationship has begun to shift into something more adult.
Current Life
As a child, Nanette's dream was to study medicine at the Academy, and to become a physician. Her family has resources, so she had no difficulty securing admission. Having virtually no resources of his own, Simon studied and worked hard to make an impression on the faculty and administration. That work (along with a heartfelt plea from Nanette) helped him to get a scholarship. Now Simon studies various forms of engineering. He has taken some classes with Nanette, but it was only to stay close to her - so while he has has some small exposure to the medical field, his interest is definitely pointed toward engineering.
