Hello fellow pathfinders! We are converting our regular gaming group to 2e. For my homebrew world (which I am of course happy to ramble about endlessly) the players are my wife, our best couple friends, and our two children ages 7 and 10. My 7yo would love to do some studying before we start. I can't find *any* how to play videos for 2e that are for kids. Does anyone have anything that would be helpful to her and appropriate for her reading level? She's quite bright for 7, but even I can struggle to pay attention to some how to play videos.

Thanks so much for your help!

So I'm playing a Vigilante (stalker type) in my friend's first attempt at GMing.
Stats are Str:13 Dex:18 Con:7 Int:16 Wis:7 Cha:14
He's a changeling from the 3.5 version (a child of a doppelganger and a human).
My hope it to build a long range sniper using Hidden Strike, Sniper, and Silent Dispatch, also Mighty Strike is great if I spend enough levels to get to it.

The party is 2 first timers and my wife. First timers are playing a twf combat ninja and a darkness focused sorcerer. Wife is playing a support tank warpriest (nobility and war).

The general idea is that we're temple robbers working for a temple who wants to embarrass and weaken rivals. Everyone in the party but me has at least 60' darkvision or better. I'm stuck with standard vision. The goal is to have a party that can use darkness liberally to put ourselves at a solid advantage in most fights.

My goals for a build:
Fun abilities: my character is a bit of a showoff and is all about having a trick in his pocket for any situation at hand. I want a build with fun tricks to support and lead a team.

Burst Damage Output: I want to build for silent takedown shots. Take the long shot to clear the balcony before the ninja climbs up and to rope the rest of us in.

Other than that I just want to be useful and have fun. I usually DM so I don't get to play much so I just want to have a character that is usually useful and relevant.

My current plan is to dip Linnorm Blooded Sorcerer for darkvision and some light casting. Then stick to Vigilante until I can pick up Arcane Archer to give myself some fun with imbue arrow. I figure combining true strike, gravity bow and hidden strike will make for a good opening shot.

Is this a bad plan to have a moderately effective archer and utility character?

Any other suggested classes, feats or suchlike.

How many levels should I take in arcane archer and sorcerer?

Any other helpful advice? I know this character is nowhere near optimal but I'd like to make smart choices where I can.

Thanks a ton for any help you can provide!
