About Sheoni Windstand

Character sheet.

From a young age Sheoni Windstand knew she was different from other girls: from time to time she felt like she was engulfed in a dream-like state.
When she was like that she could see many overlapping images of people, many of them unknown, of foreign places and of beings she could not even describe.

A common occurrence in her dreams was a very bright figure urging her to do good and to help the sick and the injured.
At that point, she got really frightened and discussed with her twin sister Aleine all that was happening to her. Aleine just smiled and took her by the end to a nearby hospital showed her what the bright being was suggesting, healing one of the injured with a simple touch.
Aleine had fully accepted her fate put before her and even took missionary missions from time to time.

Though having being born just seconds apart, sharing the same blood and gift the girls had a different feel for the world.
Like gray is to white so was Sheoni compared to Aleine. Sheoni always seemed one step behind her sister, whether it was popularity, grades, and even this new found gift.
Also, Sheoni did not care about the sick she did not know, she would use her powers to do good but mostly when it suited her. Her visions became less frequent and she paid them less and less head.

One morning Aleine called the whole family to come together and declared that she was to go in a long journey, one in which she will have to bring the light of Pelor to a new land and embrace the locals of that land with that light.
Sheoni knew that land from her childhood visions, she's seen men being forced to work the field, unexplored wilderness as far as the eye can see and even bits of dreams which indicated human sacrifices took place there.
She tried to stop her sister from going but only managed to fuel a huge quarrel. Aleine left the next day.

After a while, a boat has returned with a member of the expedition Aleine had joined. It appears that the group had been attacked by natives and he was the only one who escaped, the rest are presumed to have been killed or taken prisoners.
Sheoni gathered what information she could from the survivor and prepared her bags for a long trip: she would find what happened to her sister, learn more about her mission and impart vengeance if needed.
