Pathfinder Battlecry! Page 13: The Jotunborn Weapon Familiarity feat is currently missing a line of text compared to similar feats for other ancestries. "At 5th level, whenever you get a critical hit with one of these weapons, you get its critical specialization effect."

Pathfinder Impossible Magic Pages 32, 36, 239, 240: There are several instances where the word "level" is used where "rank" should be used instead. This occurs thrice with the Epitaph necromancer class feature and once each for the Conjurer of Corpses necromancer class feat, the Staff of Nature's Cunning, and the Staff of the Desert Winds.

Pathfinder Impossible Magic Pages 204-205: The property runes in this book use the word "item" at the top of their statblock instead of "rune". This is inconsistent with rune item statblocks printed in other books like GM Core, Treasure Vault, War of Immortals, etc.

Pathfinder Impossible Magic Pages 212-217: Several new items use "level" instead of "item" at the top of their statblock. These include the Daybreak Ammunition, Disruption Ammunition, Escalation Ammunition, Gravebane Ammunition, Magekiller Bullet, Runeveil Ammunition, Shatterpoint Ammunition, Wormhole Shot, Backdraft Bead, Consecrated Shield, Courier's Cryptex, Discordant Strings, Echoing Theater, Frigid Rebuke, Ghostly Legerdemain, Hundred Stings, Leaden Weight, Literate Lemur, Mistwalker's Instinct, Odious Token, Preserved Alecost, Steel Cloud Road, Stolen Countenance, Undertaker's Spade, and the Warden's Eye

Replace the final sentence with the following two sentences. “When you make this substitution, you can add your Intelligence modifier to your attack roll instead of your Strength or Dexterity modifier. If you Strike with a melee weapon, melee unarmed attack, or thrown weapon, it must have the agile or finesse trait to benefit from the substitution.” The new wording applies to the same weapons as before, but also works on ranged unarmed attacks like the leshy’s seedpod.

Today's errata for Player Core 2 says that Devise a Stratagem has been changed to apply to the same weapons as before as well as ranged unarmed attacks, but it now restricts thrown weapons without the agile or finesse trait. Considering that about half of the thrown weapons printed so far lack these traits (many are ranged weapons like the bola and the javelin and thus have no need for the finesse trait), this line seems to be placing a greater restriction on your options than before.

What do I think? I think this sounds great! It feels more intuitive for an action or an activity to only trigger each weakness and resistance that a creature has once, with weakness or resistance to all applying once per damage type.

I was concerned when I saw that this system was being changed back in the April blog post, and now it's being described exactly as I feared. I just want good deals on quality RPG materials. I do not want to go through the same hoops as someone playing a mobile game.

Pages 26, 30, and 34: The armor impulse feats (Armor in Earth, Metal Carapace, and Hardwood Armor) list a strength ability score rather than a strength attribute modifier in the statistics. Since this book is meant to be compatible with the remaster, it seems like this was missed.

  • Pages 140 and 141: The Cleric Spells section for Ferrumnestra and Laudinmio both list Detect Metal as a 1st rank spell, but that spell is a cantrip and it is already on the divine spell list.

  • Also page 170: The Cleric Spells section for Kelizandri lists Fear as the 1st rank spell, but that spell is already on the divine spell list. This is also the case with his entry in Lost Omens: Gods & Magic (page 126).
