About Shareena Seahome
Feat:
Dodge
Traits:
Fencer: You gain a +1 trait bonus on attack of opportunity attack rolls made with daggers, swords, and similar bladed weapons.
Against the Technic League (weapon): You gain a +2 trait bonus on all damage rolls made against targets you know are associated with the Technic League.
Panache 3
Derring-Do (Ex): At 1st level, a swashbuckler can spend 1 panache point when she makes an Acrobatics, Climb, Escape Artist, Fly, Ride, or Swim check to roll 1d6 and add the result to the check. She can do this after she makes the check but before the result is revealed. If the result of the d6 roll is a natural 6, she rolls another 1d6 and adds it to the check. She can continue to do this as long as she rolls natural 6s, up to a number of times equal to her Dexterity modifier (2).
Dodging Panache (Ex): At 1st level, when an opponent attempts a melee attack against the swashbuckler, the swashbuckler can as an immediate action spend 1 panache point to move 5 feet; doing so grants the swashbuckler a dodge bonus to AC equal to her Charisma modifier (3) against the triggering attack. This movement doesn't negate the attack, which is still resolved as if the swashbuckler had not moved from the original square. This movement is not a 5-foot step; it provokes attacks of opportunity from creatures other than the one who triggered this deed. The swashbuckler can only perform this deed while wearing light or no armor, and while carrying no heavier than a light load.
Opportune Parry and Riposte (Ex): At 1st level, when an opponent makes a melee attack against the swashbuckler, she can spend 1 panache point and expend a use of an attack of opportunity to attempt to parry that attack. The swashbuckler makes an attack roll as if she were making an attack of opportunity; for each size category the attacking creature is larger than the swashbuckler, the swashbuckler takes a –2 penalty on this roll. If her result is greater than the attacking creature's result, the creature's attack automatically misses. The swashbuckler must declare the use of this ability after the creature's attack is announced, but before its attack roll is made. Upon performing a successful parry and if she has at least 1 panache point, the swashbuckler can as an immediate action make an attack against the creature whose attack she parried, provided that creature is within her reach. This deed's cost cannot be reduced by any ability or effect that reduces the number of panache points a deed costs.

Background:
Shareena grew up on boats. Her father was a captain of a smaller trading vessel and his mother was his second mate. The fact that she was an aasimar child was looked at as a promise of a good future for the family and thus the trading crew at large. The crew, rather tight knit and loyal to her father, treated her as part of the family, playing with her and basically keeping her from being underfoot.
Growing up on the ship, Shareena learned quickly how to do most of the chores, climbing up the mast, like a monkey, in order to take her turn at mast, how to navigate the boat, how to read the charts, and so on. When the boat would drop anchor, she even took the dingy and went swimming about being a typical kid. During all this time, her parents took precautions against the threat of piracy, teaching Shareena how to handle herself should the need arise.
As her parents were sailors, they taught her to pay respects to Gozreh for safe travels through the waters, but this didn't fully sit with the girl, like two people don't always get along, she felt that the reverance to Gozreh was nothing less than a necessary duty. It wasn't until the ship took on one of its rare passengers that she met Cayden. The man was raised in one of the orphanages ran by the church and as he got older found himself becoming a cleric himself.
The girl took to the stories and ideals of Cayden much quicker than she ever had Gozreh and took him as her main deity, asking Gozreh only for safe passage and all other times emulating Cayden.
After her parents and most of the crew had retired, she decided to set out to see what she could find, and perhaps find the perfect ale while doing so. Having heard of rare metals like adamantine, she sought to find out where the objects crafted from them came from. Initially to that end, she went to Starfall, the town quickly left a foul taste in her mouth as she saw the slavery led by the Technic League. Wanting to leave that town, she hung out in the tavern listening for any rumors as to other places to go for information. She overheard the name of Torch dropped in a patron's conversation and has worked her way to the town.
She still hopes to put an end to the slavery that she saw, but knows that alone she can do little to chance the status quo and in fact would probably end up a slave herself for even trying. She hopes Cayden will provide a way and hopes for the day that all will be free in Starfall.
