I recall back in the day there was some rule about the amount of damage a creature could take before it could no longer maintain flight. Does any such rule exist in 2e?

I was DMing the other day, and the wizard cast a mount spell, followed by haste to pursue a target. He was ambushed a few rounds later, and went down to -3 hp. Does the summoned mount still hang around for the duration of the spell or disappear? What about in the case of any other summoned creature?

I was DMing a session a few days ago. The players had defeated some bandits, but one was trying to escape. He was about 200 ft. ahead of the monk, on horseback moving at full movement rate. The monk player wanted to use his turn to run at full speed, and about 40 - 50 feet away from the fleeing bandit, he wanted to leap and grapple him to knock him off the horse. So essentially, run 150 ft., leap the last 50ft. and tackle the bandit on the horse. I am not sure, but I thought that when you are running at full speed (in this case normal movement is 50ft. x 4 = 200) you could not also attack that round. Any suggestions how I should resolve this?

Flurry of Blows states that "A monk may substitute disarm, sunder, and trip combat maneuvers for unarmed attacks as part of a flurry of blows." Can a monk also make stunning fist attacks during a flurry, or is that only possible during a regular attack sequence?

I am not sure, so someone clue me in. Is the smite ability supposed to be on every attack the paladin makes against the chosen foe until it is dead, or is the ability to smite supposed to last until a single hit is made against the chosen foe (unless it dies first)?
